The mission of St. Anne Catholic School is to develop each student academically, spiritually, culturally, interpersonally, and physically in a Catholic environment.

BASILIAN FATHERS GIFT Shortly after celebrating the 85th birthday of St. Anne Catholic School, Father Al Sinasac, Pastor of St. Anne came bearing incredible news. The General Council of the Basilian Fathers awarded St. Anne Catholic School a gift of $200,000! Father Jack Hanna, Secretary and Treasurer General of the Council wrote, “Soon St. Anne’s will be the only Basilian parish in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and our ministry there is very important”. The Basilian Fathers requested that the funds be used to serve the needy and marginalized of the parish by subsidizing tuition in the school. Kathleen Barnosky, Principal of St. Anne Catholic School was overjoyed with the generous gift. “We will be able to ensure that St. Anne continues to be a diverse school and to help families obtain a Catholic education for their children”.

(1) Total actual tuition and fees paid directly by the families of the students. The tuition revenue has been reduced by grants, scholarships, and all applicable tuition discounts (e.g. multi-child). (2) Beginning in 2015-2016, the Foundation Grant will be $125,000 and the Annual Fund, administered by the school, will offset the reduction in the Annual Grant. (3) Capital spending includes larger scale capital costs and investments undertaken by the school over time to enhance the school’s physical facilities and learning environment (e.g. classroom refurbishment, technology investments, roof replacement, etc.). In line with best practices and archdiocesan guidelines, St Anne Catholic School budgets for a targeted surplus each year of at least 5% of annual operating expenses to accumulate reserve funds to be used over time for these purposes.
