Now is the best time ever to Discover Burnaby. With COVID-19 throwing a wrench in people’s plans to travel outside of B.C., we’re here to help you explore the City of Burnaby, B.C.’s thirdlargest city with more than 248,000 residents. Our city stretches far and wide, with the mighty Fraser River to the south and the ocean waters of Burrard Inlet to the north. Burnaby is a study in contrasts. There are four bustling city centres – Edmonds, Metrotown, Brentwood and Lougheed – but our city is also loaded with so many natural places to explore. We have two large lakes, a mountain filled with trails, and dozens of tranquil parks to explore.

City changes mean more trails and parks areas have been added all around the city. The city also has a pretty fine dining scene, with restaurants offering cuisine from around the world. The jewel of the Heights, the Peartree, even landed on the top-100 list of the best restaurants in Canada.

So shake off that pandemic rust, and go out and discover the best that Burnaby has to offer.
