What is it?

SportsCool are experienced providers of holiday clubs for children of primary age. Our Holiday Club is packed with fun and engaging activities to play and enjoy, meeting new friends and building confidence along the way. We play sports such as dodgeball, football, golf, frisbee, archery, fencing, yoga and many more. Bounce and race through our inflatable obstacle course in a fun and safe environment.

Each child is given a SportsCool Activity Pack, so that they can carry on their learning at home with their families and friends. The Activity Packs have games, and nutritional education, as well as healthy recipes to encourage families to cook together.

INTRODUCTION TO STAND UP PADDLEBOARDING (SUP) INDOOR at St Peter’s/Padiham Leisure Centre

For ages 8-11 years (All participants must be able to swim)

What is it?

Try out a new activity, sign up to a fun introductory session to SUP boarding. We will teach you the basics to be able to stand up confidently on a board. You will have opportunity to learn new skills and plenty of time to have a play and practice what you have learned.

SUP boarding is a great way to be active and for the first time will be delivered in the swimming pool.

We will also teach you about the equipment, water safety, how to launch a paddleboard, self-rescue and how to use different paddle styles along with playing lots of fun games.

FOOTBALL AND GOLF CAMP at Prairie Sports Village

For ages 7-11 years

What is it?

A football focused camp, delivered by UEFA qualified coaches, where children take part in a number of matches as well as various games designed to help improve their football skills.

During the day, children can also have a go on the ‘Golf Driving Range’ and weather permitting, the ‘Mini Golf’ course.

During the children’s breaks they also have the opportunity to play table tennis, pool and table football.

HOP ON DOWN TO THE EASTER BUNNY’S MAGICAL TRAIL

For ages 5-12 years

What is it?

This is a family event and children must be accompanied by an adult. The Easter Bunny has set up A Burrow in Thompson park and in Memorial park this year. The children will need to follow the trail that he has left, count the eggs he left behind and solve the Rabbits Riddle. All children that complete the trail will receive a small easter Egg from the Easter Bunny and parents/carers will have the opportunity to take photos of their little ones with the bunny before he hops away for another year.
