What is it?

Come and join the Christmas fun with festive and crafts, cooking and a trip to the pantomime!

INFLATABLE FESTIVE FOOTBALL AND GAMES

For ages 7 - 11 years

What is it?

Monday will involve our inflatable football challenges in the morning. In the afternoon the children will take part in a friendly football tournament, all at the St Peter’s Leisure Centre.

Wednesday: Christmas party day, hosted by ‘Little Party People’ at St Peter’s Leisure Centre. This will include a variety of fun games and a visit from Santa.

Thursday: Fun family day at Thompson Park, where the children will take part in a Christmas themed trail and also a visit to see Santa, where they will receive an activity pack that they then take home and play with their families over the Christmas break.

Children will receive a lunch on all of the days, as well as a meal package to take home with them on the Thursday.

A MAGICAL MULTI ACTIVITY CAMP

What is it?

Monday will involve the children taking part in fun sports/games and christmas arts and crafts all at St Peter’s Leisure Centre.

Wednesday: Christmas party day, hosted by ‘Little Party People’ at St Peter’s Leisure Centre. This will include a variety of fun games and a visit from Santa.

What is it?

SportsCool are experienced providers of holiday clubs for children of primary age. Our Holiday Club is packed with fun and engaging activities to play and enjoy, meeting new friends and building confidence along the way. We play sports such as dodgeball, football, golf, frisbee, archery, fencing, yoga and many more. Bounce and race through our inflatable obstacle course in a fun and safe environment.

Each child will also receive a SportsCool activity pack with games, nutritional education and healthy recipes to use at home on Thursday.

What is it?

You will be taken from Turf Moor to the Leisure Box in Brierfield, where you can enjoy the Clip and Climb walls, along with taking part in a range of sports from football, dodgeball and cricket. Children will also have the chance to take part in arts and crafts activities.

For ages 8-11 years & 12-16 years

What is it?

Monday will be a day of rounders, dodgeball, archery and lots other exciting activities based at the pavilion building at Thompson park.

Wednesday will be an action packed day of games and a Little Party people Christmas party at St Peter’s Leisure Centre with a visit from Santa.

Thursday will be back at Thompson park for the Festive Christmas Cracker trail, where the whole family can take part in a Christmas themed trail and visit Santa where they will receive an activity pack that they then take home and play with their families over the Christmas break. A packed lunch will be provided for each child on each day of the club. Children will also be given a Christmas themed meal to take home with their activity pack.

RUGBY UNION & BOXING SKILLS

What is it?

We will provide a structured programme of rugby and boxing provided by qualitied coaching staff that is engaging and supportive of the development of good citizenship. Rugby will built around the RFU core values teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline, and sportsmanship. Children will be encouraged to participate fully in session, including learning about contact in a safe and support environment. Boxing will work with our young people to provide more structure and understanding of the importance of discipline and controlled skills participially around defence, again in a safe environment.

KIDS EAT FOR FREE at Burnley Boys & Girls Club

For ages 4-16 years

What is it?

Holiday fun including sports, games discover and craft. Four days to meet new friends and make and create challenges and games to compete in the BBGC winter Olympics. Daily sporting activities including teams and individual fitness, football, dodgeball, basketball, tennis, badminton, volley ball, table tennis, bounce-athon using our indoor and outdoor space (weather permitting) to deliver two hours of physical activities per day. Create and Make at least one hour of developing creative skills for all participants, making an array of useful take home crafts to give as presents for the holiday season. One hour of healthy eating and planning per day along with make your own healthy pudding, from fruit salad to trendy sorbet looking at the diet we have and how we can improve together.
