Where a fault has been clearly indicated, or is apparent from a photocopy/scan (where provided) a stamp cannot be returned on account on that fault. The following abbreviations are used in lot descriptions – p.(lge, sm) OS perforated (large or small) OS, o(w)/c to L/R off (well) centered to left/right, o/w otherwise, sl/sm slight/small, cple couple, CDS pmk Circular Date Stamp postmark. Other abbreviations have been used, however, their meanings should be fairly apparent from their context. Grade Abbreviations – UM Unmounted (Unhinged) Mint, MLH Mint Lightly Hinged, M Mint (with some hinge remainders & adherences), (O) Unused (mint without gum), (V)FU (Very) fine used, GU Good Used, FU(x) denotes that grade with minor defect as described, FU+ slightly better than the grade indicated, CTO Cancelled to Order, Bklt Booklet, Cvr Cover, Facs Facsimile. Estimates for Postal Bid Sale Section: Estimates are generally very conservative and, in most cases, are well below normal retail prices. Bid section estimates are EXCLUSIVE of GST. Your Bids: Please indicate your bids on the form provided. You may bid at, above, or below the estimates. Reserves are generally 80% of estimates. Lots will be sold to the highest bidder at approximately 5% above the second highest bid, however, we will generally round to the nearest 25c/50c on lots up to $10. Irrespective of your actual bid amounts,

in instances where you are the only bidder, lots will be provided at reserves . Where equal bids are received, preference will be given to the earliest bid. Where the Break Tied Bids option has been accepted, your bid will be increased by 1 bid step if necessary to secure the lot for you. Goods & Services Tax (GST): The current standard within the philatelic trade is that retail prices (known amounts) are inclusive of GST and uncertain prices (eg Postal Bid/Auction) are exclusive of GST. Overseas (export) sales do not attract GST. Accordingly, GST of 10% will be added to the total of Bid Sale lots on Australian clients’ invoices. No additional amount will be added to overseas clients’ invoices. GST is absorbed by us on Direct Sale lots. Order Limits: Clients may place bids on all items they are interested in, together with an overall spending limit (if lower than the total). Postage on Orders: Postage is extra on all orders under $110 (including GST). Registered Post (cost generally $3.50) is used for all Australian orders exceeding $30. Where successful bids (plus GST) by Australian clients exceed $110, the consignment will be posted at no charge to the customer. Postage (including registration, where required) on all overseas orders is charged at cost. There is no objection to clients providing stamps to be used for return postage.

Due to current Australia Post regulations, we are obliged to use pre-paid labels for registration charges. Payment Options: Personal cheques (Australian only) are acceptable, subject to clearance. Cash/Money Orders are fine. Credit card payments are welcome and provision has been made on the form for payment details. All card details are treated with utmost confidentiality and care!
