— The Master of Enterprise creates skilled leaders, executives and general managers who can drive their organisations forward. This degree provides advanced knowledge in key functional and strategic business areas, enabling leaders to take their career, and their organisation, to the next level.

Program Outline

Assessment

Local Students:

The Master of Enterprise consists of 12 subjects, comprising seven core enterprise subjects, two core innovation subjects, two capstone subjects and one elective.

Assessment in core subjects includes a take home exam, an assignment and a workplace field project.

$3,672 per 12.5 credit point subject.

The course is designed to be completed in 1.5 years of study but may be taken over an extended time period.

All projects are applied by participants to their real work environment to deliver immediate benefits to themselves and their organisation.

Who Is It For?

Program Details

The program is designed for individuals with three or more years of professional experience, currently working in middle to senior management positions across a variety of sectors and industries.

All core subjects are offered in intensive mode. Two subjects are taught in each intensive week.

Small class sizes facilitate the development of valuable relationships with fellow students from a wide variety of industries.

Participants can elect to complete either one or two subjects in each block. The final capstone project subject is taken over the course of one semester. All subjects are taught at the University’s Parkville campus

International Students: $4,556 per 12.5 credit point subject. Fees quoted are 2015 fees only and are subject to an annual increase.

Entry Requirements: Career Outcomes

Graduates of this program are likely to be employed in roles such as:

• CEO • Managing Director • General Manager • Business Owner

• An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline • A minimum of 3 years of documented full time, relevant, professional work experience Applicants must also be able to demonstrate the capacity to successfully undertake the program which may be at the discretion of the Program Director. Minimum entry requirements do not guarantee entry.

Fees Program length is 150 credit points (12 x 12.5 point subjects)

Students must complete one elective subject from the University’s graduate level offerings, approved by the program director as relevant to the innovation interests of the student. Possible subject areas include: social entrepreneurship, biotechnology, information technology, sciences or engineering.

Capstone Subjects

Innovation and Entrepreneurship Project This is a capstone subject and must be taken in the final semester of study.
