processes related to the multidimensional transformation of companies, however in this article, we will focus more on the power of social media.

The new reality, a new way of buying

People are gradually getting used to this new reality (Covid-19), and online shopping is one of them. After March 2020 people’s access to e-commerce around the world changed almost overnight. Fear of physical contact changed their behaviour in so-called shopping as well as the products they buy, when and how they buy these products. When cities are quarantined, non-essential businesses are ordered to close and customers are forced to avoid public spaces, buying essentials became the new mode of shopping. In this new reality, brands were forced to reconsider the way they do business as well as focus on finding new opportunities. But the online world has more competition than the offline, so the task of every business is to have an attractive online presence which provides security and reliability to customers.

Online reputation and social media

Social media marketing is able to connect and interact on a much more personalised and dynamic level than through traditional marketing. A social media marketing strategy can be as simple as having a company blog, a LinkedIn account, Youtube videos, etc. Social networks provide a place to interact with customers and allow consumers to interact with each other. This can be a great starting point for marketing to go viral and boost sales. The more you interact with the customer, the more brand loyalty you build. Whether for your personal reputation or the reputation of your business, social media is an important aspect of monitoring and maintaining them in the online world.

When someone hears about a business or a brand and wants to know more or connect with them, they search on various social networks. You can start a dedicated social media strategy to improve it and influence the kind of information people find about you.

3 social media rules you may not know Social media marketing should be perfect

Hire a specialist. People who have no experience in digital marketing have unrealistic expectations that every post on social media will have an immediate impact. But organic growth on social networks like Instagram or Facebook has declined dramatically as companies enter these networks hoping that consumers will be caught with just a brief glimpse of their goods. More sophisticated tactics are needed such as compelling designs or videos that would translate into content and be appealing to people in order to have more impact.

Be authentic

Even on Facebook, Instagram, or Linkedin, what matters is your value, the advantages of the product or service you offer. Post things that really interest you and your community. From the other side get to know your clients, engage honestly. Giving advice and offering suggestions will make you seem helpful, knowledgeable, and trustworthy.

Monitor and protect your brand

Respond to comments and complaints, using them as opportunities to engage, build trust, grow your brand, and face potential problems. Make sure you regularly visit sites, resources, and sites that discuss the industry, your product or service.
