HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR COSTS
TUITION & FEES*
To calculate your cost for tuition and fees, choose your residency status and multiply by the number of credit hours you are planning to take.
*Please note that you are considered a full-time student if you are enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester. However, to graduate in four semesters, we recommend that you enroll in 15 or16 credit hours per semester. A minimum of 12 credit hours are required to qualify for some scholarships and to live in our residence halls. Federal financial aid is prorated based on enrollment and eligibility.
BOOKS
The costs of books can vary depending on the classes you take. For estimating, add about $500 per semester.
HOUSING
The average cost for on-campus residence halls is $7,550 per year, which includes 19 meals per week.
• HUNDREDS OF SCHOLARSHIPS ADDING UP TO MILLIONS OF DOLLARS • FINANCIAL AID AND PAYMENT PLANS
• ON-CAMPUS JOBS
• VETERANS BENEFITS
Not only is our tuition affordable to start, we have scholarships to help lower the bill even more.
Another Butler Advantage – our faculty are always finding ways to cut the cost of books. With plenty of Open Educational Resources (OER) available, many general education classes have textbooks that cost nothing. Start comparing us to some four-year universities and you’ll wonder why they charge you more for the same classes.
