WITH FACULTY
OUR CLASSES ARE SMALL AT BUTLER.
With a student-to-faculty ratio of just 11:1, you will absolutely be known by your professors and your fellow students. When it comes to your success, getting personal attention makes a world of difference. By building these close relationships, you’ll take on a new level of responsibility, and you’ll be well connected once you enter the professional world.
“Compared to the national average, more Butler students feel that faculty believe in their potential to succeed and that at least one faculty member has taken an interest in their development.” —Diverse Learning Environments Survey, 2019
COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (COE) ALUM TOMMY ROERS ’19 pursued the Fulbright U.S. Student Program
after encouragement from his professor and academic advisor, Dr. Susan Adams. After an extremely competitive interview process, Roers was awarded the Fulbright and taught English in Uruguay. “It was such an incredible experience to go and teach English in a completely different country and culture, and get to know professionals from all over the world.”
“I credit my College of Education professors for preparing me for this opportunity.”
