BULLDOGS MAKE THEIR PRESENCE FELT THROUGHOUT INDIANAPOLIS

Like CHARLIE GRISWOLD, a Marketing and Finance double major who’s had two internships so far in his college career. His first was at Indy-based nonprofit Nine13sports, where he managed social media channels, wrote blogs, and organized logistics for a variety of projects. He also served as the Marketing Intern at Copper Mountain Technologies, also in Indianapolis, where he helped with a website redesign and advertising campaigns, among other projects. “I’ve had so much real-world experience through my classes in the Lacy School of Business and through my internships,” he says. “And, I love being in Indy. I have so many opportunities and connections, thanks to my Butler network.”

IN INDIANAPOLIS, you’ll be challenged to put your education into practice, create a network, and gain valuable career experience to prepare you for the road ahead. You’ll have opportunities with a wide range of organizations based on your individual interests. Students have made an impact on children’s lives in our community’s classrooms, completed sociology research on homelessness in the city, and gained experience interning with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indianapolis Colts.
