Critical Communication and Media Studies (CCM) challenges students to examine popular culture’s influence on ourselves as well as society. Our exceptional faculty, who are on the cutting edge of the ever-evolving media landscape, inspires students to explore how this influence contributes to the construction of both personal and public identities. CCM cultivates students to become engaged citizens, scholars, and practitioners who study and work in multiple forms of communication, participate in civic life, and shape public culture.
