degree programs graduate talented individuals that the education community wants to hire.

Education is a broad field, as varied as our students and their interests. If you’d like to teach, but aren’t sure where you fit in, we encourage you to begin as an Education Exploratory major. Take introductory classes in education, and experience the variety of educational work and settings, so you can choose what’s right for you. Organizations hire our education graduates for positions in classrooms, museums, wellness-based practices, nonprofit youth work, and many other education paths. Through COE, you’ll develop confidence and skills in leadership, advocacy, research, human interaction, and teaching practices— abilities that employers value highly.
