Leadership Coaching Month 3
Community & Personal Validation
Temperature Check
Before we jump into our agenda for today, let’s take a moment to check in with each other. On a scale of 1 (horrible) to 5 (incredible), how are you feeling?
Do you want to continue with the session or schedule another time?
Coaching Agreements
Now, let’s quickly review and discuss The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz.
Which agreement is most important to you today? Why?
Are there other agreements that we should add to guide today’s coaching session?

● Who validated or dismissed Coco and what positions of power did they hold in the school?
● How does the power structure of schools (e.g., principal, teachers, and students/peers) invalidate youth voices, feelings, and experiences?
● Why is validation important to Coco’s leadership identity and her ability to make aligned (head, heart, & gut) decisions?

2. Reality - Have you made any progress toward your goal? Why or why not?
3. Options - What are 3 different ways you could accomplish your goal?
