ThetwobooksthatIreadweremostlysimilar,though.Thefactthatonestoryactuallyhappened andtheotherdidn'tmadenodifferenceinthepointofviewineachbook.Onedifferencethatstruck methoughwasthefactthatThePrincessBridefirst–personquitefrequentlytomakenotesinthe bookfromGoldman,whoabridgedthebook.Therearemanysimilaritiesinthepointsofviewin thesebooks.TheHotZone:ATerrifyingTrueStory,third–personisusedthroughoutalmostallof thebook,untiltheendwherePrestonistellingabouthisjourneytothecavethevirusisbelievedto havebeencontained.Inthatinstance,first–personisused.InThePrincessBride,Goldmanuses third–persontotellthestory,butalsousesfirst–persontoaddnotesintothestoryTheyaresimilar inthewaytheyusetwodifferentpointsofviewinthebook.Thepointofthatwasbest,inmy opinion,wasTheHotZone:ATerrifyingTrueStory.Prestonmadeapointtousethesamepointof viewthroughmostofthebooktopresentainterestingrecapofthehorriblestoryoftheEbolavirus.
