FRIENDS, CUSTOMERS AND CATTLEMEN,
This is our first public offering of a breeding program that has been underway since we decided to re-enter the purebred sector five years ago. We started by purchasing targeted donors in Hereford and Angus that excelled in calving ease, growth, milk, carcass and available reproductive traits. In ‘Building the Brand,’ we have utilized the data, augmented with genotypes, that is publicly available to all of us at the American Angus Association and American Hereford Association. We know this process works as it is backed by proven scientific research as well as our professional experiences leading commercial breeding programs in other livestock and poultry species that resulted in dominant, global market share in their protein segments. We encourage you to validate where all of these cattle rank within their breeds through each of the association databases.
We also want to recognize the partnership with Gardiner Angus Ranch as we are a Gardiner Angus Ranch Allied Producer. When we restarted, we quickly wanted to partner with like-minded breeders. We thank the Gardiner family for their friendship and support. The Angus listed herein are sibs to our bulls marketed at Gardiner Angus Ranch.
While fewer in number, the Herefords offered are untouched with respect to where they rank within the active animals in the AHA database. That is by design. Next Level, now at Select Sires, was the first product of that effort, and we are offering several full and maternal half sibs to him. The entire female offering is donor rich. You have an opportunity to produce breed changing sires from future flushes of these females.

All the best,

William , Congratulations to you, your family and 111 Farms. Being positioned to take advantage of marketing opportunities because of discipline, data and progressive relationships with your customers are all necessary attributes to a sustainable beef cattle operation.
Your ancestors arrived in Georgia nearly 200 years ago. Like my ancestors, they likely could not fathom the pace at which our industry is moving to add and recognize value. That progress requires a clear vision about what makes money in the beef business. Your attention to detail, application of genomic data, objective decision making and always thinking outside the box most definitely sets you apart.
I commend you on your discipline and the genetic decisions you have made to use the best bulls in the Angus breed to create females with multi-trait excellence. I applaud your commitment to avoid distractions and design cattle with the genetic potential to be valuable throughout the entire production spectrum.
I COMMEND YOU ON YOUR DISCIPLINE AND THE GENETIC DECISIONS YOU HAVE MADE TO USE THE BEST BULLS IN THE ANGUS BREED TO CREATE FEMALES WITH MULTI-TRAIT EXCELLENCE.
Applying “the Golden Rule” always is never a wasted effort. It’s simply doing the right thing, every time. We are very grateful for friends, colleagues and customers, like you, that have the same reverence as we do for treating people right.
For anyone considering this offering, like all of us in the seedstock business, our cattle are only as good as our willingness to take care of our customers after the sale. William Herring and the Herring family are equally committed to your success.
The commitment to designing Angus cattle with multi-trait excellence is backed by the responsibility to make tough decisions based on objective data. William Herring has made tough decisions. The females offered in this sale are the product of these efforts.
I encourage you to buy with confidence.
Respectfully,
Mark R. Gardiner Gardiner

GB FIREBALL 672 - Sire of the Lot 1A - 1C Flushmates
H P C A HOME TOWN 1051 - Dam of the Lots 1A - 1C Flushmates
111F Fireball M8
• We decided to make these heifers available for sale after we received genomics, and photos were completed. Videos will be available prior to sale day.
• We purchased H P C A Home Town 1051 from Hinkle’s Prime Cut Angus as a donor. Last year she produced the leadoff lot with a maternal sister to these heifers that yielded a $100,000 valuation at the H P C A sale. To say the least, this donor has not disappointed. All of these heifers are capable of producing breed changing sires and could serve as a foundation for any breeding program. Offering half interest, full possession in choice of these three with the option to double.

• This is one of the first Fireproof daughters to be offered at sale. She is the natural calf of G A R Transcendent 192S. The genetic profile of 192S raises her to be one of the elite, if not the best multi-trait Transcendent daughter out there today. She is being flushed now in our program. As expected, M1 provides an EPD and Index profile that is unmatched. Donor quality for sure.
Ogeechee Home Town L10

• We acquired L10 as a heifer from Ogeechee Farms to produce embryos for our program. She has 6 calves on the ground now at our cooperator herd. She is safe to GB Fireside 115 and will be ready to flush again soon. She was conventionally flushed twice to average 8 high quality embryos. IVF twice for a total of 5 high quality embryos.
• Safe To GB Fireside 115, due 10/17/24.

The females in this offering carry the service of Power Play and F Impact 329. We sought out Power Play and 329 again, based on their multi-trait EPD and Index profiles. Those matings along with the genetic profiles of these females promise to present exciting progeny, potential herd sires and future donors.

• There are 4 full sibs that are maternal sisters to Next Level and sired by JW 1857 MERIT 21134. Merit is the only homozygous polled sire in the breed with a higher $CHB than Next Level. Translated – stacked into one pedigree you have the two highest value sires represented in a single package. All four of these heifers are flush worthy. However, we are going to retain half interest in L6 to share in embryo production. If you are a serious performance breeder, you won’t find an opportunity with greater genetic value.

Offering full possession, and we will retain ½ revenue sharing and semen interest. Both of these young sire prospects (full brothers to Next Level) have incredible proofs along with exceptional phenotype. You can’t go wrong with either choice. We have already test driven them in the pasture with cows, so they are ready to service females.
