Dear Friends, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to not just our sale but our home. This is not our first sale, but this one will hold a special place in our hearts. This is the first sale we have hosted at our ranch in Fort Cobb, and it’s the first one in our new sale facility. We are extremely grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of the Hereford family and to present this tremendous offering of cattle to you all. We feel it is second to none!

This sale is something we have worked toward and dreamed about since we bought our first Hereford heifers back in 2007. The female sale has always been a dream of mine personally. Since we are hosting our first one at home, we wanted to make this offering extra special and unique. The genetics offered are some of the freshest and newest genetics out there, and we look forward to your evaluation of the cattle. We feel this female offering is deep, and we tried to spare nothing to offer you, our customers and friends, nothing but the best.

Our situation is very unique. The last eight months, I have been away in New York for the baseball season, and Amber has taken the reins and run our ranch like a pro. I am so proud of her and how hard she works to help us live our dream of raising the best Hereford cattle we can.

We have held our Hereford Heritage Bull Sale together for nine years, and we will host the tenth one here at our ranch in February. Obviously, not only do they have tremendous cattle, but they are close friends, and we appreciate the confidence they have in us by joining with us in our Big League Genetics Female Sale. Last but not least, I want to say a special thanks to John and Mona Loewen.

John has been a mentor to me since I bought my first Hereford female. I am grateful to him for trusting in us for the sale, but most importantly for his close friendship.

Her first three progeny posted average ratios of 96.7 for BW and 106.3 for WW. Her first two progeny posted average ratios of 141 for IMF and 102 for REA. 60D herself posted an impressive IMF ratio of 128.

• 77 Miss Ellison 60D 17G is the first natural calf out of 60D, who commanded $18,250 as a two-year-old fall pair in the Big League Genetics Vol. II Online Sale to C&L Hereford Ranch and Sand Rock Ranch. 17G scanned an actual IMF score of 9.29, adjusting to 9.37 and a ratio of 171—the highest on record at Double Seven Ranch.

• 77 Walk-Off 60D 87G was the lead bull in the 9th Annual Hereford Heritage Bull Sale, commanding $40,000 to Barnes Herefords in Cedartown, GA. Walk Off was admired for his dark cherry red color, big red eyes, length, bone, hip and overall mass. They excel in calving ease with 55 progeny turned in for BW as of this writing posting an average ratio of 99.1. They have performance as well, with 24 progeny turned in for WW as of this writing to post an average ratio of 101.3. When you study the phenotype, you have to appreciate the eye appeal, balance, body type, mass and superior structure they have. • This is without question one of the elite females walking the pastures at Double Seven Ranch. Sired by the now-deceased resident herd sire Ellison, who was lost in the spring of 2020, this two-year-old is something to spectate in person. • The Grady progeny have certainly lived up to expectations and have been admired by visitors to the ranch throughout the year. 79H has turned a lot of heads this summer, and it is easy to see why—she is exceptionally good! 79H is the type of female Double Seven Ranch strives to produce, and that is why they are willing to part with only her or her dam and keep the other in the breeding program.

• 80F has been a favorite of many Double Seven Ranch visitors. Her design and build are impeccable, and she is a unique breeding piece to build a program around. She displays elite calving ease, elite Udder and Teat EPDs and valuedadded carcass merit. Remember that there will not be many more Ellison progeny produced, as he is deceased and semen is in limited supply.

• Just study the picture of this deep sided, well built, red-eyed female that has a gorgeous udder. She has been flushed IVF, and embryos have brought in excess of $1,000 nearly every time they have been offered.
