I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Sixth Annual Big League Genetics Sale and thank you for your interest in our cattle. We invite you to come join us Saturday, November 9th, at the Double Seven Ranch near Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. We are excited to welcome old and new friends to this sale, as we feel this set of cattle is one of the best sets we have assembled. This is the largest offering of mature females ever offered in a Big League Genetics Sale. With the national cow herd at an all-time low and with a very good market, we felt it was time to share more of the fruits of our labor. Through our extensive ET program, we have put together an impressive set of young females who are in the prime of their productive lives and are stacked with the best genetics we can assemble. We are offering an exciting set of females that include future donor prospects in the ET heifer calves and herd bull prospects that are all out of our best donors, an excellent set of young spring splits with mostly heifer calves and a herd bull prospect, bred heifers, fall pairs, heavy breds and embryos. These females are the freshest and newest genetics we have to offer, and we look forward to your evaluation of them.
The past few years, I have been fortunate to be at the ranch quite a bit more with my position at the University of Oklahoma baseball program and have enjoyed my time with Amber and our three boys, Jaxon, Eli and Hunter. They work so hard and spend all their free time making it possible for us to continue to live our dream of raising Hereford cattle. With saying that, I know that none of this would be possible without the hard work and commitment of my wife, Amber, and all she does around here with the boys’ and my hectic schedules.
This also wouldn’t be possible without so many people who have helped us throughout the years, and we are grateful to each of you. I want to say a special thanks to the Pribil and the Birdwell families. We have held our Hereford Heritage Bull Sale together for 12 years, and we will host the 13th one here at our ranch again in February 2025. Not only do these families have tremendous cattle that are closely aligned with our breeding philosophy, but they are close friends, and we appreciate the confidence they have in us by continuing to join in our Big League Genetics Female Sale. Last but not least, I want to say a special thanks to John and Mona Loewen. They are family and mean the world to Amber and me. When I first started in the cattle business, John Loewen took me under his wing and mentored me, and for that I am grateful. His program’s genetics can be seen throughout the sale offering.
With that said, our cattle program and our breeding emphasis are focused on females. Every breeding decision we make at Double Seven Ranch is to create unique females—from genetics, to numbers, to phenotype. As you will see, we focus on udder and teat quality and expect nothing less than the best.
The sale cattle will be available for viewing by the afternoon of Thursday, November 7th, or you can view them at each respective operation’s ranch anytime before then—just give us a call and we’ll be glad to show you around. We hope you enjoy the sale just as much as we enjoy hosting it, and we look forward to seeing each of you November 9th or before. If there is anything we can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

• What an incredible opportunity to acquire this beautiful young donor female sired by the $80,000-valued Colyer and Jennings Land and Cattle AI sire, C Key West 0065, and out of the proven Double Seven Ranch and Burns Farms donor BF 4013 Posh 12H ET.
• K26 is without a doubt one of the best daughters of Posh 12H in production. You would be hard pressed to find another female that rivals her when you combine her incredible phenotype and impressive numerical profile. Short marked with pigment and loaded with style and balance, she is big topped, long spined, feminine through her head and neck, equipped with a beautiful udder and flawless in her structure.
• Numerically, this young donor excels at growth, maternal traits, carcass and all of the dollar indexes. She is the only female in the breed with her combination of YW, SCF, REA and CHB. • Take Off is an impressive herd bull prospect that combines the ST Genetics roster member SHF Houston with our Posh 12H donor, who is one of the most impressive 4013 daughters you will ever lay your eyes on. This eye-appealing, sound structured bull with an excellent skeletal design easily handles his massive amount of muscle and depth of body. Additionally, he is bold ribbed with excellent testicular development and a masculine appearance. His genomically enhanced EPD profile combines moderate birth and calving ease with breed-leading growth, superior maternal traits and highly sought after carcass quality.
• Take Off’s dam, BF 4013 Posh 12H, owned with Burns Farms in Tennessee, was our selection from the 2020 Burns Farms and Friends Sale as the coveted Lot 1 female and is likely one of the best 4013 daughters in the breed. 12H is packed full of shape and look and has a beautiful udder. Where she separates herself is in the fact that she not only excels in phenotype but also excels in her EPD profile that ranks in the top 1% for CHB and top 2% for WW, YW and Marb. She is a proven producer, as three daughters sold in the May 2024 Burns Farms Female Event to command an average of $18,500. It takes great females to produce influential herd sires, and we believe that Posh 12H only adds to the breeding potential of Take Off.
• With the combination of genotype and phenotype that he possesses, it is clear to see that 77 Take Off can propel his new owners to new heights in his first calf crop!
