This offering reflects our commitment to producing superior genetics and phenotypes that meet the highest standards of the industry. Last fall Tyler had the opportunity to travel overseas to London. He met with UK Hereford breeders to discuss strategies for improving the breed and enhancing genetic logistics on a global scale. In January, we attended the NWSS in Denver, where we enjoyed networking with fellow Hereford breeders from across the nation - and a great visit from Tyler’s UK friends!
We are excited to again include a selection of Valley Creek Ranch bulls in our sale. We enjoy our collaboration with the McGee Family and their contribution to our operation. This partnership provides our customers with a unique opportunity to access a diverse range of quality cattle in one sale. Last fall we were able to add to our herd by acquiring some elite pairs, breds, and heifers from William Claybaugh and Doug Bolte. In result of this acquisition, we have 10 unique bulls to add to the sale!
On February 22nd, we will host an open house at our calving facility 1 mile east of Clearwater, NE on HWY 275. We will serve certified Hereford prime rib from noon to 5pm along with plenty of refreshments at the legion on main street in Clearwater. This is a great chance to see the entire Kester Herefords program, including spring cows, fall pairs, herd bulls, and sale cattle.

Terms & Conditions Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder and becomes the responsibility of the purchaser as soon as sold. The auctioneer will settle any disputes from the auction block. The cattle sell under the terms and conditions as recommended by the American Hereford Association.
Internet Bidding Online bidding will take place at DVAuction. com. Please register ahead of the sale start time.
Guarantee Bulls are fully guaranteed for one breeding season. Should a bull prove not to breed cows or become injured the bull may be returned and a satisfactory replacement will be provided (if available) or a credit on a future sale will be granted. In the event of an injury during the breeding season, please contact Tyler or Cody Kester before selling the bull for salvage. Any deviations from the above statement will be worked out between the buyer and Kester Herefords.
