Choice of the Champions & Street Sign
• The National Junior Hereford Association (NJHA) continues the tradition of Lot 1. Not only will the lucky bidder get to put their name on the historic street sign that is on display throughout the year at the American Hereford Association, but will also be on display at the Junior National Hereford Expo (JNHE) in Madison. As an added bonus the highest bidder will get their pick between the Grand Champion Polled or Grand Champion Horned Female sponsorship at the 2023 Junior National Hereford Expo. “Mad Dash to the Hereford Bash” is sure to be one of the biggest and best JNHE’s to date and don’t miss the chance to be a part of the action and put your name on the grand champion horned or polled female of the prestigious owned female show. Take your pick and thanks for your support of the NJHA and JNHE. All proceeds support the NJHA and Hereford Youth Foundation of America JNHE Legacy Fund.
2Choice of Bench or Wood Chest
• This beautiful live edge rustic bench was crafted for the most passionate Hereford enthusiast’s home. It was handcrafted by Bradley Woodworks of Texas. It is hand cut and finished with stain and lacquered to make sure it stands the test of time. It boasts a beautiful Hereford scene engraved on the back rest and tufted Hereford hide bench cushion. Truly a one of a kind showstopper.
• Rare 19th century handcrafted Zanzibar dowry chest with brass metal overlay and brass mounts. The antique trunk is comprised of solid carved hardwood and features ornamental hinged lid. The interior is fitted with a candle box on the left side. The chest is adorned with pierced brass metal sheets and brass studs throughout, creating a series of geometric and Moorish inspired patterns. It has been adorned with Hereford hide and leather trim. Truly one of a kind piece. Exquisitely detailed with magnificent craftsmanship and fitted with brass carrying handles. Originally used for travels and often for the exports of good. Makes a great coffee table, side table, or accent piece. All proceeds of this sale lot will help fund scholarships, educational events and other NHW endeavors. Your continual support is greatly appreciated.

A heifer they sold last year in this sale went on to be a great female for Bowling Herefords — just ask Tim Stidham. They return with another solid female that will make a great cow and show heifer. Ella is one of the top heifers we have raised. Her dam is a top daughter of Churchill Red Bull and always brings in a good calf and granddam brings in one of our biggest calves as well. Her maternal brother was Reserve Champion Hereford Steer in the FFA Show at the 2022 MO State Fair and he also stood 11th out of 44 steers in his carcass division (all breeds), and a maternal sister sold in the MO Opportunity Sale. Don’t miss out oun this All Around daughter, she’s one of our best! If you are looking for a cow that will step your breeding program up a notch, look no further. This heifer has it all, from her stylish looks to her elite pedigree. 10K is a direct daughter of NJW Forward. She is big topped, bold ribbed and an awesome set of running gears to complete her elite package. 8
Here is a google-eyed Endure daughter out of one of our best producing cows, a 43Y daughter originating from Miller Herefords. This dark red show heifer prospect is everything we hoped for with this mating; huge bellied, sweet fronted, great numbered and ultra-gentle. We think she is the right kind for any production setting.
• THIS IS US!! That is the simplest way to describe this female. She is the epitome of our herd and genetics. Sired by our WORR Owen Tankeray. Who has been our anchor for many years. He has sired some of our best cows and many times showring Champions. We lost him this past year and he will be truly missed. The dam, WORR Geisha Kyra is out of our #1 donor cow, and we simply think she is one of our best yet. Kyra is also our best uddered female on the ranch. For those of you at JNHE, you would have seen this heifer calf at the side of our Reserve Champion Bred & Owned Pair. Kloesel herself is a a really nice female. She has width, dimension, depth, substance. She is functionally correct on her feet and legs. She has good numbers with no holes to fix. Again, this is how we strive to make them. Just solid! She will make a nice show prospect and an incredible cow!!

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS
Go to www.LiveAuctions.tv. Please note that you do NOT need an account to watch the auction, but you do need to register an account and request a buyer number if you wish to bid. If you have not created a new account since September 1st, 2020 you will need to click “Register” in the top right corner of the homepage and create a new account. Once you have completed the form on this registration page and hit the “Register” button you will receive an e-mail with a place to click on to verify you have entered a valid e-mail address. Once you have completed this registration process, find the auction you are interested in on the homepage and click on it (sales are listed in chronological order). You should then see a box that says Login. Now that you have an account with LiveAuctions just type in your E-mail Address and Password. You will now see a hyperlink at the top that says “Request a Buyer Number”. The first time you request your first buyer number on LiveAuctions it will send you a text message with a verification code in it. Type the code from the text message into the area requiring it and you will then see your name along with a buyer number listed at the top of the webpage where the live video is and you will be able to bid. You will only have to complete this two-step verification process one time. After that you will be able to immediately request a buyer number on any auction without verification through an e-mail or text message again. LiveAuctions no longer requires an app. If you wish to view/register/bid on a smartphone just type LiveAuctions.tv in whatever web browser you use. The registration process is the same as it is on a desktop computer, but the website is built mobile friendly. Click on the three lines in the top right corner to access the menus.
Bidders who are successful in making purchases will be contacted by the ranch after the auction to settle payment and discover your shipping plans.
If need help registering to bid or to view the auction please call Technical Support at (682) 816-4900 or e-mail us at TechSupport@LiveAuctions.tv.
