• We are excited to offer this high quality Thomas County daughter. The GKB Sweet Thing progeny are consistently stout, well-structured cattle with added look and dimension. 4006 "Jojo" is no exception. Cow power deluxe, with a set of EPDs that lends itself to so many possibilities. This female is powerful enough to raise and produce herd bulls, yet still feminine enough to raise show heifers as well. This female's ability to combine presence with all the fundamentals in mind is what sets her apart. The kind to build a herd around. We can't wait to watch what this female can do. Bid with confidence.

• Here is one really stout Houston heifer that has the look and EPD profile to compete. By far this is the best female we have ever consigned to this sale. She can wear a halter and also has the pedigree and EPDs to make a superior female in the future. Houston females are making a statement around the country and this one will fit on the top shelf. Great disposition on this female as well.

• If you want a kid broke, quiet, tame heifer this Houston heifer fills the bill. She has been shown at the Iowa State Fair successfully in August and has only improved from there. Steve doesn't let many heifer calves leave with the two granddaughters pulling his chain, but he agreed to let this one enter the sale. Her dam is a solid female that Steve acquired a couple of years ago. This heifer will be easy to show and will make a nice cow for many programs.

• This is the youngest heifer in the sale and another good Marksman. Trace to her bottom side and you pick up 88X which lends to maternal stoutness and production. At picture time she was a bit green but she will be ready for the sale. Valley Oaks brought a heifer last year to this sale going to Iowa and is aming a really good bred female. Don't overlook this young female.

• An American Classic daughter that we think is a big-time show prospect. 3M is big bodied and burly legged while maintaining an attractive package and extension in the front end.
This one screams quality and stems from one of our favorite cow families on the farm.
Females like this are a sound investment — low risk and high reward.
• This perfectly marked female is sired by our outstanding Genesis son from Barber Ranch — who has knocked it out of the park for us. 5M has a beautiful silhouette, great disposition, good hair, and an elite pedigree. Her dam is one of the most fertile and heavy milking Herefords we have ever owned, so we anticipate this female will be a money maker when she goes into production.

First off, take a look at her pedigree you will be hard pressed to find another heifer out there with this much genetic potential. Now let's talk the heifer — she's a beautiful fronted super soggy, big footed female that moves like a cat. Don't let this female pass you by. She will excel in the show ring and even more as a cow.

• Here is one of our most exciting matings of the year — Our foundation dam 19Z mated to Gunsmoke. 19Z has written breed history and is the dam of 7 females serving as donors in some of the top herds in the country and numerous sons working in registered herds. She is a Homozygous Polled Dam of Distinction and comes from our top producing cow family in over 50 years of raising registered Herefords. She is a maternal sister to the great donor 45C. A dozen of her sons and daughters have sold in National Hereford sales to average over $20,000.
• Gunsmoke is one of the most impressive young sires in the breed — combining show winning phenotype with an exceptional EPD profile. In addition this mating stacks the outstanding cow family behind 19Z and 45C. We put in embryos from this mating this spring and averaged 70% conception. Offering 4 IVF non-sorted embryos stored at Trans Ova Genetics, Sioux Center Iowa. Guarantee one pregnancy if implanted by a certified embryologist.
