My Favorite Personality Essay

Whenever I think about where my favorite place is I always think about my Aunt Beth and Uncle Kirk's house. I have spent countless summers over there when I was younger through my early teens. Their house has and always will have a special part in my heart. I always feel safe and away from all my worries spending time there. Spending time over there relieves all of the daily life stresses I have. Just thinking about heading over puts me in the best of moods. I can not remember a time where I was not happy being over at their place. Their place is and has always been filled of laughter and love. Their house is located at Lake Perry, and their house happens to sit right off of the lake. My Aunt and Uncle's house is my favorite place because I love boating on the lake, adventuring with her dogs, and riding ATVs with thefamily. I do not think there is any better feeling than having warm wind blowing through my hair, the bright sunshine beaming on my face, or hearing the splash of water hitting the side of the boat. One thing I love doing out on the lake is laying on a floatie staring up into the cloudless, bright blue sky. I could lay there all day. I feel so relaxed just lying in the lake absorbing the beaming sun rays I feel all over my body. As I would lay there, I can usually hear our boat bobbing in the water while other boats speed off in the distance. All throughout the lake, boats are usually scattered like fall leaves in a pond. My Vacation

This will be my story on my favorite vacation. This vacation was my most recent one in which i went on a cruise. A cruise is taking a ship to other destinations throughout the world. The cruise That i was on Went to 3 different islands. The following will be why this cruise was my favorite vacation ive ever been on. The first place we went to was Florida. We flew down to florida in order to board theship but we got 1 night before we boarded the ship. Usually when we go down to florida the night before the cruise we end up going to a nice restaurant and this restaurant was especially fancy. When we first got there we got to our hotel and then walked around to find a nice place to eat. This particular steak house was unlike anything i've ever been in before. We walked up to the front and read a sign said "formal attire only" but we were in shorts and t shirts. As we were reading it the owner of the restaurant came out and welcomed us inside. We get inside they sit us down in this beautiful circular booth. They came and served us water and brought out a platter with an array of vegetables and fruits. Cucumbers, Oranges, Etc. Multiple servers would walk by and make sure we were fine, Service like ive never experienced before. This food was NOT cheap at all we did not expect it from the restaurant. I ordered a lobster bisque to start off and it was the most fantastic soup i've ever had in my life. After that i ordered a steak gorgonzola and that was absolutely phenomenal. The store owner was very polite and he himself came around to check on us and see how we were doing. By far the most memorable restaurant i've ever been to. Then we went home and went to bed to get ready for the cruise in the morning. We woke up at 5 am When it was pouring rain to get on the cruise ship the ship was absolutely phenomenal. I'll get into that at a later time. The first Island we went to is called Grand Turk In Turks and Caicos. Now this island we have already gone to previously so we knew what we were gonna do there. The second we got off the ship we took a half a mile walk down the beach to this place called "Jack's Shack" where they serve THE BEST Jerked chicken and play music and serve drinks to you while you lay

Me Myself and Personality Traits When asked to describe myself I never know what to say, but I should know myself the best, right? I like to look at myself as a genuine, thoughtful young lady. I'm a hard worker; I believe nothing is ever handed to you so you have to go get it. I worked hard to get to this point of my life and working even harder to get to the successful and graduate part of my life. I was taught to be caring and thoughtful; I wasn't taught anything else from anyone other than not to trust people. I'm the odd ball of my family because I am nothing like anyone. I can say I was also taught to believe in myself and never down myself because I can accomplish anything. That is shown through my determination and hard work because if I didn't believe in myself I wouldn't try as hard. Last but not all, Humanistic approach sums up my personality a little more than psychodynamic does because it involves nature vs. nurture and that kind of sums it up just saying that. Environment and Heredity is kind of the main reasons of my attitudes and actions. In the article, Time–Limited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Briggs conducts different forms of psychotherapy techniques to prove whether things in an adolescent's life effect different adolescents differently. His study was a success and proved that many adolescents have different interpretations on the same issue. He read them off different problems and wanted to see how they would interpret them. He used children in the age groups of 12–17 and it worked out. I think that the different approaches can be brought together in some circumstances but in my case it doesn't. My Personal Qualities

Over the course, I have learned that all people are unique and have their own personal traits and qualities. One person does not just simply fall into one category, but various categories. What is beautiful about all of us is that we all have diverse personalities, traits and qualities. I have learned that we should be proud of and embrace these unique qualities of ours.

I know and I have been told that I am a kind and sympathetic person, because I love to help people and put a smile on their faces. Even when someone is being rude, I try to "kill them with kindness" in return. I used the quote: "Beauty isn't about having a pretty face. It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart, and most importantly, a beautiful soul". I chose to use this quote because I adore it and I go by it. What matters most is in the inside, not on the outside. I think people sometimes, even me, get too caught up and try too hard to look beautiful, but they don't focus on personality.

A) I expected to get artistic, creative and investigative as my results on surveys that I took, because I already knew I had these traits as a part of my personality. However, the results from mylearning styles survey were a little surprising to me. I got visual as my highest total score, while kinesthetic and auditory were almost balanced out scores. The reason why I was a little surprised was that last year, I took a survey to figure out my learning style, and I got both auditory and visual learner. The results have their little differences, but that shows people do change over time. Learning styles can be learned and strengthened.

I give out encouragement and positivity towards my friends. Now, almost half of all my friends look up to me for advices. As I read through the results, it says that ENFPs are energized by being around others. That statement is true because being social makes me feel lively. Furthermore, ENFPs tends to procrastinate. A great example of my procrastination is starting on this paper when it's due the next 12 hours. Overall, the Myer–Briggs Test slightly gave me a much more detailed insight of who I am. My friends and the test results shared similar answers about my personality. Therefore, I agree with the test because it fits my description of what my peers sees in me and as well as how I see myself. The second test I took was the Temperament Test that contains four fundamental personality types. One of the four types I received was sanguine. I love school. I love going to school and reading. I had to miss some school last school year because my mom got very sick. I missed a lot of school because I was worried about her. She kept having terrible panic attacks and had to go to the hospital all the time. One time it happened while we were camping and my sister Gwen had to go in ambulance with her. It was very scary since I didn't know what was going on in the ambulance or when the next time I'd see my mom again. It got worse and worse and she got very sick. My Favorite Mistake When I think of my mistakes, it was a challenge for me to identify the biggest, let alone my favorite. After thinking upon of what I thought were simple insignificant mistakes, I found something that is also responsible for my happiness and health today. My biggest mistake was not getting injured, but continuing to train injured and treating the shooting pain as soreness. This injury lead me to many places, and through many treatments. It has been painful and arduous but the outcome helped pave the way I live my life. It is the summer of 2014 and I am now on my second swim team. My favorite coach was relieved of his position and not long after his departure, the head coach left too. Being a dramatic fourteen–year–old girl, I unconsciously decided that I already did not like the new coach. While she was the coach of my group, I tore my supraspinatus and strained my infraspintus (both muscles of the rotator cuff) and I describe the pain as sharp and constant. After practicing for a few days, I realized that my shoulder was not supposed to feel like this and I should see someone. My mom booked me a doctors appointment with an orthopedic doctor, specializing shoulder treatment. As you can suspect, they told me the thing I feared most, "You can't swim for 12 weeks," I got into the car and I cried. I cried because I wouldn't be able to do the one thing I loved. I cried because I knew people who stopped swimming because of an injury not that much different that the one I had. As a motivated fourteen–year–old, determined to not let this problem stop my training, I went practice every day of those twelve weeks. Though I could not move my arms, I kicked laps for two hours a day. Besides my injury, the team ran into a plethora of problems, and the team folded a few weeks later, which meant I was out of a team. That same summer, the summer before freshman year, I tried out for my another team in my town, which is my current team. My shoulder had rested its 12 weeks, and I was cleared by the doctor, I could resume training. We Have all had that one teacher throughout our years of school that has been your favorite and the one that you compare all of your other teachers too. There are certain qualities in each teacher that makes him or her differnt from another. Throughout my years in school, I would watch in awe as my teachers stood in front of the class with a sense of confidence and ease. The older I became, the more I realized how much educators did in order to make sure that the students in their classrooms succeeded. Even when I was not at school, I sometimes got an inside perspective of the life of an educator from my aunt, who is a first grade teacher. I would hear all about the lessons that she planned and some of the experiences that she has had as an educator. As she spoke about her experiences, I could genuinely tell how much she enjoyed expanding the minds of her students. As I grew older, I recognized how much I enjoyed being with and helping children, whether it was one of my peers or the children whom I babysat. One of my favorite memories is of babysitting a child who was struggling with her history homework. I sat down with her, re–read the question aloud and walked her through the chapter in her book to find the answer. The moment she found the answer in the book her face lit up. That is one of the many reasons that I want to be an educator. What Is My Personality Essay

Our personalities differ as much as our DNA. Each one with many different traits that make us who we are. While my siblings did not make the brightest choices, I have become wiser in the decisions I make to show who I truly am. My parents, also have helped me discover traits that were in me all along. My personality consists of different traits that have helped me find my true self. By nature, I am shy. The decisions that my siblings have made influenced my parents, making them stricter than most. 1. Parents– The child's mom go on some of the field trips that they have at the center and she also comes in to help out sometimes when they have parties. When he mom is around she seem to like to be around or stay lose to her. I have to admit that I was skeptical at completing the personality profile. I thought, "How could a few questions determine everything about my management style". When I received my results, I was astonished at how accurate these results portrayed my personality. While deciding which of my personality traits were advantageous and which were detrimental to my management style, I became conflicted as all of my scores can be portrayed as both positive and negative depending on the situation.

I would classify my most advantageous trait to be scoring very low on the neuroticism scale. I have the ability to remain calm in the most stressful situations. Most would believe the neuroticism would be a negative trait. The word neuroticism, taken from the word neurotic has a negative connotation. Neuroticism is defined as being characterized as full of anxiety, fear, moodiness, worry, envy, frustration, loneliness and jealousy. I personally scored very low on this personality trait. The low score would categorize me as very calm, secure, hardy, relaxed and stable. The spectrum of these traits all lends to handling tense situations with a calm, collected even temperament. Performing managerial duties on a daily basis requires one to be all of these traits and more.

My Favorite Person

One person that has influenced my life was a girl named Jordan Lang. Jordan was a senior last year (2015–16) and she had the biggest influence on my school life. Jordan and I did not know each other until last year around August or September. Jordan Lang and I met during marching band. I did not know who she was because I did guard and Jordan did percussion. I noticed that she was wearing a 5 Seconds of Summer shirt after rehearsal and I came up to her and said that I liked her shirt. I don't remember what happened after that. I just knew her as the girl who liked 5 seconds of summer with me. We would hang out and drive in her car before stadium rehearsals or we would go to her house and eat food before we had a 4–hour rehearsal in the cold. I was devastated when the marching band ended for us because it was senior hug line and I started crying when I got to hug her in the line. I woke up to the sounds of pans banging and bacon sizzling, and pancakes cooking. It was a gorgeous morning filled with joy and hope, these days are my favorite days. The sun is shining and the wind is blowing calmly. The birds are chirping their happy songs as the sound of kids having little discussions arose in the atmosphere. I was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California and later moved to Ventura, a city just south of Santa Barbara. As a result, its safe to assume that I've been and will always be a California kid. The beach was walking distance away from my home and the weather was always warm and sunny. My family also have been pivotal in instilling a happy demeanor by always inculcating my psyche with positive attitudes coupled with kind and outgoing manners to people of all colors, creeds, and nationalities. Furthermore, I wouldn't that I have a wide array of hobbies, however I more so have a set of hobbies which I focus on at an extremely high level with a large degree of proficiency. To further explain, two hobbies that I particularly enjoy are creating and playing music, as well as writing. With regards to music, I have been playing guitar for over a year now, and I can honestly say it has had one of the most profound effects upon my life imaginable. Music offers the only outlet that I can fathom which can allow to forget about the world around me. Your favorite person: a borderline personality discovery

For the past weeks I have been busy. My minimalism goals is going well at my own pace (I'll will write about that one day) and every day there is something to do for me. Now that I have a free weekend, I can sense that I might need people more than I think. Being raised in a loving family, yet keeping things all to myself by playing in my room by myself, made myself think I like being alone more than anyone. It's no denyiable fact that I'm introverted, so I need some rest from social interactions, yet the way I need people is too interesting to ignore.

So what do I mean when I speak about 'a favorite person'?

You'll notice the things you have in common, you'll think about them by the minute, you get happy when they text you back, yet get really sad and even depressed when they are busy. Youwant to know more and more about them and want to hang out with them as much as possible. You're basically eating the palm of their hands.

I use the comparison as being a dog who is filled with joy when they see their master. Wagging their tail, doing everything the master wants and being very happy when they pat your head. And I literally want to be patted on my head when my favorite person compliments me. It's not really a crush anymore, is it? It's about power and being submissive to everything they want you to do. But, I have to add, sometimes a favorite person can be someone you fell in love with and that's when it may get dangerous and confusing.
