FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS How is my order processed? If you’ve placed an order through one of our sales reps or at a trade show, we will send you a copy of the order, and we will process payment upon shipping. A representative from our production department will call you to process the transaction. Your order will not be shipped until payment is complete.

Unless approved by management, we typically do not offer Net 30 terms.

Can I order online? YES! If you would like to place an order online, please visit our website at www.ReStrungJewelry.com/wholesale Use the password: moonstone We require a $300 minimum for opening orders. For fill orders, there is no minimum.

Payment for online orders is made during checkout, using our secure online payment processor. If you already have a ReStrung rep, please let us know by putting their name in the notes section upon checkout. Unless approved by management, our office does not take orders over the phone.

Do I need a ReStrung Sales Rep to order? While you can order ReStrung through our wholesale site without a rep, many of our clients like to see the pieces in person. We try to attend all the major trade shows, but we also work with over a dozen trained sales representatives throughout the U.S. and Europe. If you’d like us to make a “house call,” please call or email our office to see if we have a rep in your area.

What is your turnaround time? Because our pieces are hand made, production takes time. We try to get all wholesale orders fulfilled in1-2 weeks, and most popular styles are available for immediate shipping. However during peak season, some items may take up to 3 weeks. Please contact our Production Manager to get a real-time quote on fulfillment.

What’s your minimum order? Minimum opening orders are $300. After that, you can place fill orders through our website or with your sales rep with no minimim.

Do you offer ZIP Code/Geographic protection? Yes, we do. In order to keep ZIP code protection, we require that customers maintain a minimum quarterly order of $2000. Please ask your sales representative for details.

How do you care for the pieces? Guitar strings are made out of a variety of materials, and we use mostly electric steel strings and bronze wrapped acoustic strings. We clean and coat the strings with a non-toxic commercial-grade clear coat, which helps retard oxidation. If strings become dull over time, they can be quickly shined up using any jewelry polishing cloth.

What other materials do you use? In addition to recycled and unused strings, we use conflict-free semi-precious gemstones and freshwater pearls. All of our chain is either gold-filled or sterling silver, as well as our clasps and jump rings. All earwire is hypo-allergenic, lead and nickel-free.

A Passion for Design, A Love for Music and A Desire for Change....

These are the driving forces that sparked founder and New Orleans native Naomi Celestin to create ReStrung™ Jewelry in 2011. It’s a fusion of her biggest passions - art, music and giving back to the community. Celestin got the idea to make jewelry with guitar strings after seeing some old strings at a friend’s house. She thought it might be interesting material to work with, so she began experimenting.

Eventually, she created a few designs that featured her signature wirework, used guitar strings and semi-precious gemstones. She realized that musicians break strings often and change them out regularly, so she began to call on all the musicians she knew to save strings for her.

Naomi Celestin, With a background in the music and art scene in Louisiana, she had ReStrung Founder a great network of friends that helped turn the idea into reality. In no time, she began to get interest from musicians and jewelry lovers far and wide - and ReStrung Jewelry was born.

Since its inception, Celestin wanted ReStrung to be a vehicle for change and keeping the cultural community of New Orleans vibrant and unique. To that end, ReStrung Jewelry donates a portion of our profits to The New Orleans Musicians Clinic and The Roots of Music. ReStrung Jewelry is proudly made at our studio in the heart of New Orleans, Louisiana. Each piece is lovingly handcrafted by our skilled production team of local women.
