Love your assigned photogs. Make them feel special. Many of them are just starting out and are REALLY excited. Make them feel they belong! Create name plates for their cubby. Find out what they’re interested in and ask them about it. If they’re in a sport or an activity, go see them. (You don’t have to stay the whole time, just make sure they see you.) If they work at Chipotle or Target, go see them, even if you just get a drink. Work to keep the enthusiasm going while also teaching them how to use their cameras. Reward their work with little notes or cookies or gum or cupcakes or even a hug.
