Welcome to BWI’s 2013 EXPO at Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, TX September 16-18th. This year’s event promises to be the best ever with our super savings like hot buys, pallet alley specials on velocity items and, of course, cash back with BWI’s ‘Bonus Bucks’. As a business entrepreneur, the aforementioned return on investment of your time away from your business and family is the primary justification for attending our EXPO in Grapevine, Texas. Know Before You Go Pre EXPO Information What’s new at the 2013 BWI EXPO?
• The EXPO will open at 7:30 a.m. on both Tuesday, September 17 and Wednesday, September 18. • Tuesday evening will be open this year with no planned event. • Hot Buys will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18. They are offered until 9:00 a.m. • The EXPO floor closes at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18. • The EXPO floor will be separated into areas: Lawn & Garden on the right and in the middle, Professional Grower & Pest on the left, and a bulk area for Professional that is similar to Pallet Alley.
Do I have to attend the BWI EXPO to receive EXPO specials?
Yes, customers must be present at the BWI EXPO to receive EXPO Specials, Show Terms, Hot Buys, Bulk Buys, Pallet Alley Pricing, and Bonus Buck Reward Incentives.
How do I arrange transportation from the airport to the hotel?
No matter where you’re driving from it’s easy to get to Gaylord Texan from area interstates, as well as the Dallas-Forth Worth International Airport. Gaylord Texan does not have exclusive shuttle service between Dallas airports and the hotel. Super Shuttle provides a 24-hour shared ride service from both DFW and Love Field at reasonable prices. Pre-booking is strongly recommended. Gaylord Texan is 10 miles from DFW and is Super Shuttle’s first drop off location. The cost is $11 per-person round trip. A cab ride to Gaylord Texan from DFW is approximately $25 one-way and from Love Field is approximately $45 one-way.

The Schedule of Events lists “Open Night” on Tuesday evening. What does this mean?
There are no BWI events scheduled for Tuesday evening, September 17. On your open night, grab a few friends and get out on the town. Grapevine, centrally located between Dallas and Fort Worth, provides visitors a sophisticated escape from the big city. Step back in time in Historic Downtown Grapevine and visit the more than 80 shops, wineries, restaurants and artisans. Hop aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad or unwind at one of the Grapevine’s many wine-tasting rooms. You can read more about Grapevine on pages 8-9 and you can also visit grapevinetexasusa.com.

Know Before You Go Ordering and Checkout How do I place an order?
When you check in at the registration booth you will be given a small business card with a unique number on it, this serves as your buyer card. You will present this card to the vendor you wish to place an order with. If you need additional buyer cards, visit the JT Smith/Check-Out booth.
What are the shipping parameters?
We offer three choices of shipping dates; early 12/1/2013, mid 1/15/2014, and late 2/15/2014.
What are the terms on orders?
Payment terms are due net 60 days or due May 1, 2014 (available to accounts in good standing).
Where can I get a copy of my order?
There are kiosks available on the EXPO floor where you can print your order, or you can go to the JT Smith/Check-Out booth and have a copy printed.
Where do I check-out and collect Cash Spiffs?
You will need to go to the Check-Out booth located in the front/middle of the exhibit hall and present your buyer card. From there you will need to proceed to the Bonus Bucks booth and receive your Bonus Bucks and Cash Spiff gift cards. The Bonus Bucks booth is located next to check-out.
How do I qualify for a grand prize?
You will qualify for our grand prizes based on the number of vendors you purchased from or total purchases greater than $50,000.00. You do not have to be present to win a grand prize.

Clock Tower Glockenspiel Grapevine recently dedicated it’s brand new 127-foot-high Clock Tower Glockenspiel featuring two larger-than-life, 9-foot tall Glockenspiel characters, known as the Would-Be Train Robbers, Nat Barrett and Willy Majors. Located 75-feet in the air, these figures emerge each day shortly before the stroke of noon and 6 p.m. to attempt the perfect heist and learn that crime just doesn’t pay! Grapevine’s Clock tower figures reflect the Western lore that many visitors from outside Texas find interesting and entertaining. Located at 636 S. Main St., the Grapevine Clock Tower Glockenspiel is a symbol of welcome and friendship for locals and visitors alike. Grapevine Vintage Railroad Step back in time to the nineteenth century on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad’s excursion train pulled by an 1896 steam locomotive, No. 2248, manufactured at the Cooke Locomotive Works in Paterson, NJ. The Grapevine Vintage Railroad has four enclosed circa 1925 passenger coaches, and two circa 1927 openair patio cars/touring coaches. The Grapevine Vintage Railroad makes round-trip excursions from Grapevine’s Cotton Belt Railroad Depot to Fort Worth’s Historic Stockyards Station.
