Tommy Carlsson
Tommy’s artwork reflects his fascination with realism in northern European sixteenth and seventeenth-century art. For several years his painting has concentrated on the precise depiction of interactions between materials, pressure sources, and light and shadow.
The artist subtly marries photo-realism with painterly texture and freedom, in the creation of these evocative works. Tommy was born in Sweden in 1958 and went to the Orland Ever art school. He lives and works in Långasjö (småland) and Stockholm. He regularly participates in solo and group exhibitions worldwide.

TheChristian Moore
Christian Moore is a self-taught contemporary artist known for creating works that incorporate bronze and organic materials on hessian. Christian worked as a fashion illustrator in London for over a decade for premium fashion brands and magazines such as Chanel and Tatler.
After leaving London and moving to Scotland to raise his family, Christian’s surroundings and focus changed. His enchantment with the natural world now provides the inspiration for his paintings.
The space around the central subject in his paintings is a reflection of the calm and clarity that he experienced when moving from the city, to being surrounded by nature. As with his earlier illustrative work, his current pieces remain true to his overall ‘less is more’ approach.

Alison Stockmarr
Alison Stockmarr’s work has an ethos of storytelling and repurposing at its heart. All materials are recycled into scenarios that at first glance allude to the past, but with closer inspection often offer an ironic nod to the present.
Apertures are cut into books and record covers and ephemera collaged in layers. These assemblages of everyday archaeologies afford the viewer glimpses of invented stories and alternative narratives.

Rob Walker
Although he is inspired by the traditional still life painting of the European masters of the genre, particularly the Dutch, Robert has followed a more contemporary approach to his own work, creating a more informal approach to the subject.
While his paintings still feature the conventional still life elements of glass, fruit and porcelain he combines these with a mixture of more eclectic items such as antique furniture, rusting metal containers and objects d’art to create compositions with a contemporary feel.
Robert takes great pleasure in creating a simple composition and transforming it into a work of art. “ The simplest object can become a thing of beauty if it is handled in the correct way, which is always the challenge.”

Patterened Bowl PanelGerdine Duijsens
Gerdine Duijsens is a Dutch artist based in Amsterdam, whose recognisable and strongly stylised work has generated a steadily growing club of aficionados worldwide. Gerdine’s work is a synthesis between the figurative and the abstract.
Her free and painterly style works well with the often-inebriated characters she depicts. These gluttonous socialites are shown mid-party; slurping oysters and huge piles of strawberries or demanding excessive quantities of champagne.

SkulleidoscopeLiving and working in Suffolk in the UK not far from the sea. Like many artists and creatives, he has been drawing, doodling, painting and playing around since early childhood. Having covered various subjects and styles in his career he has focused on paintings of Postage Stamps. Fascinated by their association with foreign lands, creatures and cultures.
Using the structure of Stamps and playing with text and subjects in order to create a narrative to the works. This is what he finds interesting and inspiring. The opportunity for the viewer to get some sort of escapism, thoughtfulness and playfulness. Although British, Pete was born in Panama City and raised in various countries around the world. Clearly, this has influenced his current work regarding stamps.

Katarzyna Klein
In Katarzyna’s own words: ‘I paint distant views of a landscape peppered with buildings. Water or valleys may divide the dwellings, yet they are all connected by the echoing shapes and restful hues of my palette. A foreground is detailed with wildflowers accentuating the perspective planes and graphic lines suggest paths and boundaries.
My Polish heritage surfaces in my work; my naive, pattern-based painting evolved from the folk-art tradition. A recent exploration of the homelands of my family has inspired my latest body of work. Tracing the steps of my forebears I saw the simple wooden houses, once brightly coloured and decorated, and heard stories of wolves and forests, the winter freeze, and storks in Spring. These visual images now enrich my simple and almost fairy-tale landscapes and still-lifes.

Cuckoo Flowers with Mimosa Acrylic on CanvasLindsay’s work explores, through painting, the use of objects and photographs, the theme of childhood and growing up; observing her own children constantly changing and recording their individual journeys increased her awareness of the transience of childhood.
While these photographic records act as a springboard for Lindsay’s work, she wants to suggest more than a frozen moment: questioning the events before the moment; the possibilities and potential beyond it; and the bittersweet experience of parents watching their children grow.
Objects associated with childhood communicate the longing to hold on to the past, while the combination of chalk and paint acknowledge the ephemeral nature of youth.
