A simple Victorian men's wardrobe starts with high-waist trousers in solid wool, paisley, or dark stripes propped up by suspenders. Nest adds a loose, white, or colored vintage men's shirt for working classes. A mid-to-high-class man wore a similar Victorian suit. Wealthy groups could only afford a vest that not paired.
