DR. PAUL GUIDRY

Dr. Paul Guidry is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician who joined SureAccess MD in late 2022. He graduated from medical school at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and completed his residency program in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in Memphis, TN. He and his family returned home to Shreveport in 2016 where he worked as a Hospitalist in Shreveport/Bossier for six years before joining SureAccess MD.

WHAT IS SUREACCESS MD?

SureAccess MD is a medical practice that offers a unique membership-based model called concierge medicine. This model allows us to spend more time with each patient by keeping our patient base low while offering high-quality, one-on-one care any time patients need us. Patients pay a monthly fee and receive premiere access to myself and my partner, Dr. Rick Michael, as well as additional membership benefits.

WHAT ARE THE OTHER BENEFITS OF BECOMING A MEMBER OF SUREACCESS MD?

• 24/7 access to Dr. Michael and Dr. Guidry via phone, email, and text

• Extended, unhurried office visits

• Same-day or next-day appointments

• Exams every one to two years that include EKG and spirometry testing

• Quick access to the lab, radiology, and other test results

We are available to see patients at home, nursing homes, etc. when appropriate. Patients can also request that we accompany them to specialist appointments to ensure that treatment options are thoroughly discussed when navigating to the next level of care.

SureAccess MD also focuses on prevention and we offer innovative screenings that may not otherwise be offered in a traditional practice.

CAN CONCIERGE MEDICINE REALLY IMPROVE MY HEALTH?

Yes, we believe it can! Because of the amount of time we are able to spend with our patients, we have the ability to review their health histories in-depth and get to know each patient more personally so that we gain a full picture of their health. Our patients enjoy the access to Dr. Michael and myself, but also the relationships they form with our nursing care coordination team. Our nurses are invaluable to us and our patients by scheduling appointments with specialists, knowing our patients by name when they call, and their ability to make them feel welcome and at ease in our office.
