Gemini Coronation The Krewe of Gemini held their Royal Coronation XXXIV at Sam’s Town Hotel & Casino Magnolia Ballroom. The Highland Jazz & Blues Festival Announcement Kick-Off Party was held at Bear’s. The musical lineup was announced and the 18th annual Highland Jazz & Blues Festival poster was revealed. Shreveport’s Grammy nominated American Blues guitarist, singer and songwriter Buddy Flett will kick-off the Festival. ribbon cutting was held for “Ascension Underpass” which is Downtown Shreveport’s newest mural at the I-20 underpass on Marshall Street. Artists Ben Moss, Ka’Davien Baylor, Eric Francis, and Willie A Love, along with the Greater Shreveport Chamber’s Leadership Class of 2021 were a part of this collaboration.
