Catharina Meier

I am a Master of Science with a degree in Architecture based in Berlin. Up to now I have been living in seven different countries (Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Germany, France, Brazil, USA and Switzerland) and travelling in several countries around the globe before. As a result of my experiences I am able to adapt very quickly to new environments. I acquired various experiences in architecture offices in Berlin, Bad Bentheim, New York City and recently Basel as an architectural assistant or freelancer while working on various projects from urban planning to building design. I have always been interested by the relationship between the built environment and humans living there. My priorities in any kind of design tasks are to adapt new designs to the site and to the needs of future users. In the future, I want to focus on the development of new design ideas that are dealing with social issues and cultural diversity worldwide and that require creativity and sustainability.
