BACKGROUND Introduction Margate, one of the most conservative areas, is situated on seaside in Kent, Britain. There are a noticeable number of elder people and young children above national average population. Moreover, most of inhabitants are elderly and children only a few number of teenagers. Turning into education level, the average is fairly low; the majority of society only finishes secondary school. Furthermore, economic growth is slowing down possibly entering into recession due to the fact that there are not enough youngsters running business, this causes almost shops and restaurants are closing down. Tourism is only main income in the town. Unfortunately, high season only lasts 6 months. What about the other half?

BRIEF

According to the previous researches. I believe knowledge in the most essential to develop this abandoned area to become a lively town, rising economic and lifting the quality of life. Library would be the best choice to become a new perspective of landmark; it would attract youth and tourists from everywhere particularly, neighbored towns, gathering people to the library and also enjoy fascinating scenery. I have revealed the proposal for public library. It is about a new design of modern structure in British structure. This project applies to set up grouping of cubic modules in the traditional architecture and invent the method about combined and separated space, while opening unobstructed spatial experiences as visitors stand inside, they can open up a conversation between new internal structure and the surround traditional space offer an intimate semi-enclosed atmosphere. The groupings of cubic modules are using a form of combined and repeated modules, establishing structure at once complex and flexible.

Repeating modules are set in different elevations, we can find in different types of depth in the same space. Each floor plate is connected by a variety of stairs, striking unobstructed sight lines higher and lower spaces.
