LIEUTENANT GENERAL (RET’D) GUY SWAN III
Former Commanding General

During his 35-year military career, Swan commanded units at every level including three commands as a general officer and is a veteran of the Gulf War and the Iraq War. As the 3-star Commanding General of U.S. Army North/Fifth Army he had regional responsibility in North America for homeland defense and security. He led emergency response operations and built partnerships with federal agency heads, state and local officials, National Guard leaders, and private sector and non-governmental executives. As the U.S. Army's principal liaison to Congress, he was the point man who formulated Army policy and supervised relations with the Congress which resulted in a budget appropriation of over $100 billion dollars for the first time ever while at war in Iraq and Afghanistan.
MAJOR GENERAL (RET’D) DOUG CRISSMAN
Former Deputy Commanding General
U.S. Army Central
A career infantryman and third-generation graduate of West Point, Doug served in a wide variety of command and staff positions around the world and led organizations from the platoon through the two-star level during over 33 years of service including multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. His assignments provided uncommon breadth and unique experiences including a teaching assignment at West Point, two tours in the Pentagon, Executive Officer & Senior Military Advisor to the Secretary of the Army, deputy commander a 20,000-Soldier U.S. Infantry Division (while deployed in Afghanistan), and as Deputy Commander of the British Army’s premier warfighting Division, the 3rd (UK) Division. Doug also led the Army’s Mission Command Center of Excellence where he helped refine the Army’s “Mission Command” approach which seeks to empower leaders to exercise disciplined initiative and accept prudent risks. As the Deputy Commander of rotational forces in the Middle East, Doug led through the challenging periods of the pandemic and the final withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Warren Sponsler is the Chief Operating Officer at The National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC), responsible for enabling NAMC to achieve its mission of fostering member-driven innovations that support the US Military’s development and prototyping efforts. NAMC connects solutions from the consortium’s approximately 500 U.S. industry and academia members to meet critical DoD needs. Warren retired as a Colonel in the U.S. Army in 2022 after serving more than 26 years on active duty with his last positions as the Deputy Director and Chief of Staff of the Next Generation Combat Vehicles Cross Functional Team (NGCV CFT), Army Futures Command, where he led the formative efforts in requirements development, technology investment and experimentation. As a U.S. Army Armor officer and combat veteran, Warren served in multiple command and staff positions during his career leading and training Soldiers both throughout the U.S. and deployed around the world.
