Ode to stars Audio for Poem With my telescope I look at thousands of stars lighting up the night sky, Stars that guide me home when I am lost. When I look at the stars I know that we are looking at The same sky, The same stars, The same constellations. Moon light does not drown the light out of our stars. They are the same and yet they are different. The more I see the more I am wonderstruck The questions start to rise: How does one get up in the sky? How does one get up that high? If I’m on one side of the world and you’re on the other could we be star struck together? Because no matter what moon light does not drown the light out of our stars. I might never get the answers to my questions And I might never get the opportunity to see all the constellations But no matter what I know that moon light does not drown the light out of our stars.

I’ll take no more of your insults, Because you do no good for my thoughts. Thank you, thank you for all you’ve done, But I can’t take any more insults, Hun. I’ll throw you out into the sea, Where you can swim without me. You chain me down so I’ll do the same. You mangle me up till I need a cane. I spent my life trying to make my writing what you desired. But no, no not anymore you’re fired. Go, go get out the door. Goodbye, adios, so long, no more.
Growing up Audio for poem Each day I’m slowly dying, Inside and out. It’s not the looks that I’m worried about. It’s the fact that growing up is very, very scary It’s the fact that while growing up you’re not going to have a fairy. It’s the fact that while growing up you have to make your own lane. It’s the fact that while growing up your friends are not going to be the same. It’s the fact that paying bills, and taxes are scarier then they look. It’s the fact that you have to cook. Laundry, cleaning, and things that make me queasy. Things that your parents make look very easy. While growing up there is going to be great adventures, But honestly I just don’t want dentures.
