Coastal Serenity Through the green reeds, a splotch of white. An egret, Wading before a backdrop of blue. Calm with a slight ripple, the sea stretches to the horizon. An orange-yellow sun, with multiple hues of red and yellow make up the sky. A lone sailboat, Its tall white sail a mere dot amongst the Shimmering water. The smell of salt and sea drifting over the Beautiful setting, A breeze gently blows. Coastal serenity. Audio: http://vocaroo.com/i/s00WuEKPQKYE
Majestic Colorado Mountains A mountain meadow, in the shadow, Of the tall, snow-capped peaks above. Green grasses grow while small animals scurry amongst them, From dawn to the chilly dusk. Up on the mountain, Marmots within the tan and grey rocks. Down in the meadow, Rabbits nibbling the grasses. Up in the clouds, Hawks and falcons soaring above the mountaintops. Their sharp eyes scanning for any movement down below. Down below the ground, A mole tunneling in the wet earth Around the roots of the wildflowers, searching for a meal. In the morning, Golden rays of sunlight shining on bulbous droplets of dew, Within the cool, crisp mountain air. Later in the afternoon, The warm sun keeping the air a comfortable temperature, The smell of wildflowers prevalent. At night, The stars shining brilliantly, shapes and constellations drawn from the millions of dots of light. Standing out from the dark, The shapes of the tall peaks visible. By day the view from the peak, Stunning to behold, As you find peaceful serenity within the masses of rocks. Up high in the air, without a care, You can see far and clear. From down below, What nature has chosen to bestow, Slicing the sky view above Majestically. Audio: http://vocaroo.com/i/s04Sg34WJUSh
