The Ticking Clock By Ritvik

That Summer Day Poem recording

As I sat on my porch, I felt like I was holding a searing torch. The sun beating down on me, Like its rays were reaching from the heavens and shining only on me. I resolved to go to the pool, To get real cool. I lazily floated, thinking of nobody and nothing. I felt as if I was a piece of driftwood, just floating down stream with no purpose. Out of the pool, and into the heat I went, Drifting towards the smell of the grill. The sweet corn sizzling over the charcoals. The deep red dogs roasting in the orange fires. Bellies full and off to bed, Thinking, “what a day, Summer really is sprinting by! Slowly drifting off to sleep, Counting all those summer sheep.

The Future Poem Recording

The future is a mystically thing. It can be anything you want it to be. What will you imagine it to be? Will there be flying cars? Or robot butlers that tend to your every need? Will we teleport from to and from? Or be living on the moon? Will we be watching a movie when we're sleeping? Or be riding on hover boards? Will laptops shrink to the size of phones? Or will we even still have phones? The future you see for yourself is a possibility, A world of chance, A world created by each choices you make. Make the right choices now, Walk down the path to the future of your fate.

Rush Hour Poem recording

You walk through the sliding doors, Into the cool air of the terminal. Lazily lumbering, taking it all in, With you luggage by your side, And a plane that it about to leave, It all becomes one big stressful mess. Rushing through the check-in, Making those around you Have thoughts of rage. While cutting half the line. Running through the terminal, Dashing like a cheetah, Towards a plane that is about to leave. Quickly grabbing a Frappuccino on the way. Scampering through a maze of gates. Finally, you see it, You board the plane, Sitting down, drinking your coffee, Saying," Wow, I hope that never happens again!" Then repeat it all over again.
