Furthermore, collaborative spaces are surroundings. Every employee is a part of the Atalanta team and should feel as such. designed to put every employee at an equal level, a measure to prevent toxic groupthink and power dynamics. Steelcase moveable V.I.A. wall systems are used wherever possible to ensure future physical flexibility of the space. Dynamic movement lines and adequate circulation throughout the space coupled with team building environments provide ample opportunity for employees from various departments to meet and work together. The design should EMBRACE the architecture of the space and the positive qualities of Atalanta employees. Promoting wellbeing, creating balance, and fostering belonging should be addressed in the final design solution.

The lobby features a staircase that connects both levels of the Atalanta center, both physically and mentally. The space plan of Atalanta uses simple geometry to make navigation and wayfinding intuitive even to a stranger. Murals and artwork throughout the space depict the prominent female athletes that Atalanta serves. LEVEL ONE COLOR DIAGRAM SCALE: NO SCALE

STACKING DIAGRAM HOOPS is a custom textile designed for Atalanta that embodies the adage “practice makes perfect. From afar, the figures are not immediately visible. This symbolizes the idea that sometimes the most important work that happens is not the work that is shown to others but is instead the work one does to improve oneself.

An impromptu and casual meeting space is located in the center of the Customer Care Center floor. This area serves to provide a place for employees to wind down after a stressful call or long day as well as for teams to meet with their supervisors. Provided within the space are a variety of seating options as well as videoconferencing technology and a mobile writeable surface. Ceiling clouds in the Customer Care Center are equipped with indirect lighting fixtures.
