Christadelphian Aged Care is an experienced aged care provider that has been serving the community for more than 60 years. We believe in a holistic approach to care that respects each individual and promotes the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of all our residents. As a charitable, not-forprofit organisation all surplus funds are reinvested back into caring for our residents and facilities. The Christadelphians are a Christian community. We believe that by caring for the aged and frail we are demonstrating Christ’s love, mercy and compassion in a practical way. Established in 1985, Lakefront Village comprises 72 Independent Living Units (ILU) and 28 serviced Apartments (SA) which has been refurbished adding to the comfort and enjoyment of the residents. Situated on the shores of Tuggerah Lake, Lakefront Village in Canton Beach is one of the most sought after retirement locations on the Central Coast. The stunning natural surrounds provide an ideal environment for a stimulating and active lifestyle, with plenty of opportunities for fishing, boating, picnics, barbecues and walks through the surrounding national park. Only minutes from Toukley and Lake Haven Shopping centres, residents at Lakefront Village have all the nearby conveniences one could need, along with the exceptional facilities on offer in the village itself. Lakefront Village is located at Canton Beach on the Central Coast of New South Wales approximately 100kms via the Sydney to Newcastle Freeway (F3) The Central Coast continues to enhance it’s reputation as a weekend holiday destination because of it’s close proximity to Sydney and the natural beauty of it’s lakes and bushland reserves. Lakefront Village is situated within a pleasant bushland environment bordered by the tranquil open waters of Canton Beach, minutes from Toukley and is the perfect location to enjoy all that the Central Coast has to offer. Toukley provides most of the services Lakefront Village residents would seek on a day to day basis. Based in Sydney, CAC has a strong team of people with a broad range of qualifications and specialist skills. They are highly experienced in operating residential aged care facilities as well as helping new residents make the transition from their own home to the retirement village as easy and comfortable as possible.

Lakefront Village has a caretaker, who resides on-site and has considerable hands-on experience with all aspects of village operations. Residents of Lakefront Village can be confident that their home, their lifestyle investment, is being well managed.
Residents of the serviced apartments are provided with 3 meals per day, weekly cleaning of their units and linen laundering. Residents also have the peace of mind that staff is on call 24 hours a day should any problems arise. All units and apartments have access to the emergency call system. A hairdresser attends Lakefront Village regularly. Local doctors and ancillary health care staff also provide services for residents by appointment.

The following information sets out details of financial arrangements regarding becoming a resident of Lakefront Village. The owner of Lakefront Village, Christadelphian Homes LTD, grants a new resident a 99 year lease being registered at the Land Titles Office. A new resident pays the agreed Ingoing contribution to secure the unit of their choice. Garages or carports, where available, are arranged under the occupying agreement. A unit may be reserved by the payment of a fully refundable holding deposit of $1,000. The deposit reserves the selected unit for an agreed period to allow residents time to sell their home. Lakefront Village, at the request of the incoming resident, may allow flexibility regarding the entry date. The intending resident may have the holding deposit fully refunded by giving written notice to the operator. The exception to this is a deduction of legal fees where resident specific occupancy documents have been prepared and sent to the intending resident’s solicitors. Upon confirmation that an intending resident wishes to proceed, 10% of the ingoing contribution is payable with the balance payable on settlement. Under certain circumstances, a resident may occupy the unit or apartment early. Please speak with your sales consultant about the conditions on which early occupation is granted.
During occupancy in the village, I ndependent living residents pay a basic recurrent levy of 30% of the single aged pension rate for singles or 35% for couples erviced apartment residents pay a S percentage of the pension and the rental assistance. Residents must also pay for their own telephone and electricity as well as repairs of a non-capitol nature to their unit. Residents are responsible for insuring the contents of their independent living unit or serviced apartment if they so desire.
