Dalian International Conference Center, Dalian, China: Symbol of Progress and Transformation Modish, progressive and creatively flawless is how one could perceive the Dalian International Conference Center. It is the symbol of development and progress in China. Designed by the leading Australian architects Bureau of Coop Himmelb (l) comprising the team of Victoria Coaloa, Quirin Krumbholz and Eva Wolf, Dalian International Conference Center is the part of transformation project of coastal brownfield and reclaimed land of the city. Located in the Dalian, China which is the part of Chinese Liaoning Province at southernmost part of the Liaodong Peninsula, the centre was completed in 2012.

Dalian International Conference Center is primarily covers the total area of 117650.0 sqm. The main material used in construction is steel. It is placed 7 m above ground level supported by 14 concrete and vertical composite steel cores. The tracing of building on the construction site arranged at the two urban axis amalgamate in front of the building. The centre contains the trans versed space which illuminate the faรงade and separate it from surrounded environment. Most of the spaces are cladded by cone-shaped roof screen. The centre contains Exhibition Center, Conference Center, Theater and Opera House and basement comprised of parking, disposal and delivery. The ground level allows the different section of users through public zone.
