A LIST

We're within easy walking distance of Adelaide University, UniSA, Rundle Mall and the East End.

What is the A List? In Year 12? First year of uni? Just started work? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, then the A List is a unique opportunity for you to join the Public Schools’ Club.

Who can join? The Public Schools’ Club welcomes both men and women as Members. Socialising is what the Club is all about, and that's why men and women are equally welcome.

Buy one, get seven! Pay a one-off joining fee and get seven years’ continuous membership. Enough time to get through uni, get your first job or get a flat without having to pay another penny.

You’re welcome to stick around While you’re on the A List, you have the same rights as Full Members, until this comes to an end at the age of 25, when you’ll be invited to join the Club as a Full Member.

Get involved Enjoy our many regular events or join one of the Club’s special interest groups. Whatever you’re into, you’ll find like-minded people who you can share your passions with.

The Public Schools' Club was founded in 1959 by members of ten Adelaide Old Collegian Associations. Since that time, our membership has expanded but the ethos of the Club remains the same — it is a place where people of all backgrounds and beliefs can meet, exchange ideas and enjoy each other's company in convivial surroundings.

Get a recommendation On the application form, there is a place for a referee to recommend you. This can be a Head Teacher, Deputy Head or Head of Year, or a relative who is a Club Member.

Come and meet us You might be invited to an informal get-together with members of the Club's Committee (maybe for dinner or for coffee), so that we can get to know you better.
