BotBeep Clip 保庇系統 本研究提出一組新式輪椅後方安全預警裝置BOTBeep Clip。BOTBeep Clip主要針對輪椅後 方常是輪椅使用者視野死角的問題;尤其後方有高度的降低特別不易察覺,因此輪椅使 用者有跌落之危險。BOTBeep Clip裝載於手動輪椅或電動輪椅的背面,隨身自動提示輪椅 使用者後方有高程距離之改變,減少輪椅使用者往後翻倒的危險發生。本研究進行其技 術可行性以及商業可行性的評估。技術可行性方面,實作BOTBeep Clip樣品,結合距離感 應器、距離計算技術,搭配智慧型手機,發展簡易裝載的安全預警裝置。商業可行性方 面,主要評估BOTBeep Clip融入日常生活的可能性,包括(1)裝設位置之設計,可自行輕鬆 裝設或卸除。(2)產品預期價格平易近人,容易打入市場。(3)外型輕巧美觀、不增加多餘 重量於輪椅椅身。(4)手動輪椅或電動輪椅皆適用。綜合來說,本研究將開發且評估一組 新式輪椅後方安全預警裝置BOTBeep Clip,期望其平價之特點能普及於各式輪椅輔具;伴 隨著高齡化社會之趨勢,BOTBeep Clip亦可成為未來高齡者照護的適用輔具裝置之一。

BotBeep Clip

The back of wheelchair is often the blind side for wheelchair users is particularly difficult to detect, which becomes the risk of falling. This research aims at developing a new safety device, BOTBeep Clip, reminding the user while the elevation distance of the back has changed and reduces the risk of occurrence of turnover. This research also aims at the technical feasibility and the commercial viability of a set of new wheelchair’s warning device. To the part of technical feasibility, we implement a BOTBeep Clip sample, combined with distance sensors, distance computing techniques and a smart phone. Above all, we develop an easy equipped warning device. This device, BOTBeep Clip, loaded on the back of the manual wheelchair or electric wheelchair. On the other hand, the Commercial Viability, the main idea of Commercial Viability is to study the possibility of BOTBeep Clip use into daily life. Including (1) design of loading ring which can be easily installed or removed, (2) lightweight and good-looking, (3) acceptable price, (4) wide application in both manual wheelchairs and electric wheelchairs and (5) waterproof design. In short, this research developed and assessed a new wheelchair warning device which can be applied to all kinds of wheelchair aids. Hopefully, in the aging society, it can be a common set of warning devices.
