Combining architectural heritage with contemporary design, Café Royal has been reincarnated as a luxury hotel in the heart of London’s West End with the elegance of Mayfair to the west and the creativity of Soho to the east. Grand historic areas have been sensitively restored while 159 guestrooms and suites, including six historic suites, have been created in a contemporary yet refined style. Rooms start from approximately 35sqm to 212sqm with every room presenting itself as a suite.

Continuing its celebrated legacy of excellent hospitality and dining, Café Royal hotel continues to takes guests on a culinary journey. At the heart of the hotel, the Ten Room offers British informal all-day dining, while absinthe is revived in The Bar in homage to Oscar Wilde (famed patron).

Originally established in 1865, the legendary Grill Room is the jewel of Café Royal hotel. Restored to its original Louis XVI décor, it is now the place to enjoy Champagne, cocktails and a light menu.

Fronting Regent Street, The Café celebrates the European tradition of café culture.

To complete the experience, the Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre will be opening in late summer 2013. It features a 18m/62ft long lap pool, a Watsu pool, public and private hammam as well as a state of the art gym offering personal trainers and aerobic classes.

The dedicated meetings and events centre on the first floor of the hotel includes a range of specially tailored spaces designed in fumed Oak panelling to elegantly conceal the most up-to-date technology. Spaces range from 26sqm to 176sqm with capacities from 14 – 230. Entrance to the meeting centre is via a welcome reception and rooms are orientated around a separate lounge foyer at the centre.

Pompadour Suite The Pompadour Suite is the largest event space, beautifully restored to feature original and ornate detailing and perfect for celebrative receptions, launches, fashion shows and weddings. The Louis XVI style room has a series of fluted Corinthian pilasters and mirrored panels with gilded frames, accented further by a rich decorative ceiling, elaborately depicting scenes of love.

At the far end of the room, large double doors lead on to a pillared outdoor terrace with views on to Air Street and up and down the sweep of Regent Street. The terrace is equipped with patio heaters and can be dressed to include poseur tables or additional seating.
