Savingthe CheetahsOne Dayat a Time As a child one of my dreams was to adventure to Africa on a safari. This was shaped by the many movies and pictures I saw of people in that type of setting, which looked exciting. I thought of the different types of animals I would see such as lions and cheetahs roaming in the wild. My curiosity, intrigue and love for animals began to take shape. Throughout high school and preparing for college, I knew I wanted to work with animals so, it was not a hard task to decide on a major when I applied to college.
