ULTRASONIC 墨爾本這個城市一直以澳洲的文化藝術之都著稱, 但大部分的人可能不知道它也是澳洲的音樂之都, 它有著令人著迷地地下音樂文化,這本風格獨特的 音樂雜誌便是在這樣的氛圍下誕生的,以狂野的手 繪字體結合異媒材及解構性的排版,呈現不同種類 的音樂的獨特氛圍及魅力。 Melbourne is famous as an artistic city with nice people and a multicultural blend of many different cultures. Inspired by the city's vibrant music scene, I developed a publication project about music. The whole semester project includes a 70 pages book, a pocket guidebook to the best music scenes in Melbourne and its digital version. The publication uses a lot of typographic imagery and experimental typesetting to match the content. SHI ZINE 食載是一本讓人垂涎欲滴又心跳加速的在地美食介 紹雜誌,帶你吃遍台中舊城區第一市場到第五市場 的美食,介紹在地人推薦便宜又大碗的高 CP 值美 食,除了單純介紹食物外也告訴你這些店家背後的 故事及只有當地人才知道的特殊吃法。 "Shi Zine" is a guide to the traditional markets in the decaying inner-city in Taichung city. The city is known for being a destination for its gourmet dining and street food. The magazine introduces three traditional markets which are famous for their cheap and tasty food. The magazine not only showcases photos of local food culture but also tells stories and histories behind the food. The company aims to reach research organizations, financial markets, and the Victorian government. 考量到客戶的需求,我們實驗了幾 種不同的做法以表現「連結性」、 「科技感」、「字型設計」、 「彈性企業識別」,最後我們結 合了個特性為客戶設計了一系列 的 logomark,客戶可依其需求選 擇不同的形狀進行使用及後續的設 計,這組企業識別同時也具有製作 動態 logo 的潛力。 Taking the client information on board, and utilizing our research and brainstorming, the team concluded that we would explore and present the four key concepts: “connectivity,” “technology,” “typographic” and “flexible identity.” Here we provided the client with four logos and accompanying toolkits that represented different connections, communities and scenarios.

2018 MELBOURNE CHINESE VALENTINE'S DAY FESTIVAL 墨爾本七夕嘉年華是一年一度的盛會,我的工作是 為他們設計一款新的企業識別及今年的主視覺,除 了展現情人節特有的甜美感,我也試著將西方美學 融合東方傳統元素。 Melbourne Chinese Valentines Day Festival is a sophisticated match-maker who uses her wisdom to fuse the western modern aesthetic with eastern romantic values, and magic to create chemistry and connection to help individuals find the one who is meant to be. The brief is to create a new logo and a thematic key artwork for the festival. TUS'A TUS'A 為我們自己發起的對南投縣信義鄉農會梅子 夢工廠一系列產品的品牌再造,我們受到當地原住 民文化的啟發設計了一組結合泰雅族傳統圖騰結合 山的形象的視覺,期許能藉此有質感地發揚原住民 文化、拓寬課群年齡層,以及讓梅酒成為不輸其他 產品的伴手禮新選擇。 TUS'A is a rebranding project for Xinyi Dream Works of plums in Xinyi Township Farmer's Association. The naming and design are both inspired by local aboriginal culture. "TUS'A" means time and dawn in traditional saying in Atayal who are the residents in Xinyi. The graphics combine the traditional aboriginal totems and the illustration of the local landscape. We also use different colors to differentiate different flavors and use them as a metaphor for time. IBD FUNDRAISING PROMOTION 發炎性腸道疾病 (IBD) 是一種免疫相關的腸道疾 病,目前的詳細成因仍不明,可以分成潰瘍性腸炎 (UC, Ulcerative Colitis) 與克隆氏疾病 (CD, Crohn disease) 兩種,此疾病以歐美地區分布為主。在澳 洲,每 250 人就有 1 人得到此疾病,而相關的醫療 資源更是十分缺乏,這支短片是為澳洲最大的相關 非營利組織 Crohn’s and Colitis Australia 所做的 募資宣傳短片。 IBD or Inflammatory Bowel Disease is becoming more and more common, more complex, and more severe in Australia. It affects about 1 in 250 people between the ages of 5 and 40. Almost 75,000 Australians have Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, and this number is expected to increase to 100,000 by 2022. Crohn’s and Colitis Australia offers highquality information and support to enable people to live their life to the fullest and follow their dreams. The brief is to create a short motion graphics for their fundraising event in March 2018. CONNECTED ConnectEd 是一款結合社群軟體及求職平台的 App,主要目標客群為 18 到 25 歲的大學生及社會 新鮮人,ConnectEd 提供了一個友善地平台讓這群 年輕人得以建立有意義的連結,並能順利地找到他 們心目中理想的工作及確立職涯方向,並在這段過 程中仍能帶著愉快的心情。 ConnectEd is a social media platform which is centered and focused around creating meaningful connections, aiding users in establishing an understanding of their educational and career prospects. The logo and visual identity design will reflect the core company objectives of easy, fun, and immediate in order to reflect the engaging nature of the company. The design for the mobile application will emulate key feelings such as connectivity, and inspiration in order to create a point of difference within the market space. 最終的 logo 結合了 CE 及無限符號 的形象,整體扭轉的意象及中間空 一段的設計暗示著這個 APP 使用者 可能正處於轉換工作跑道的階段, 除了基本的 logo 設計我們也以此 為基礎設計了一系列小工具,可以 使用在後續的介面開發設計。 The final direction is the "CE" progressive monogram but adapts it to be a slightly abstracted infinity symbol. The break in the symbol suggests the path that a person might take or the turns that might come in their career. The colours shifted to more of a dark blue and indigo in order to strengthen the presence, especially as a button on an app screen. We used the logo to design a basic style guide and toolkit. From here we designed icon sets and an extensive colour palette to give an introduction of where this branding set could take the application.

ATHANS Athans 是一個運動用品概念線上購物網站,目標 客群為二十至三十代的年輕人以及退休人士,上述 族群為現今上健身房頻率較高的年齡層,我們針對 這些人做了一次小規模的街訪問卷調查,並以此為 基礎設計一個簡約時尚、中性、對使用者友善的購 物網站。 Athans is a concept sporting goods shopping website. The brief is to create an enjoyable, engaging, and user-friendly sports goods shopping website for people of all ages and try to bridge the gap between online shopping and in-store shopping. Our main target audience is the 20s to early 30s and then 60+ male and female with moderate to proficient knowledge in fitness and computer skills. With most doing it for fitness and fun, leisure. MOSA MOSA 是一款結合實地考察的手機遊戲概念設計, 我們認為遺失文化的人需要一個機會去挽回或記錄 遺失的文化,而無意識的人往往需要一個契機才能 意識到自己是主流或非主流的人,進而對自身以及 他人的文化產生好奇心,我們期望藉由在地的故事 引發這兩個極端族群對本土文化的好奇心,我們無 法阻止這些地方被拆除,但至少想讓他們留下一點 存在過的痕跡。 MOSA is a mobile game which targets two extreme groups in Taiwan: those who had lost their culture and those who are not aware of the cultures. The game provides them an opportunity to know the stories happened around their living areas. The game first took place at Military Kindred Villages which are one of the most unique cultures in Taiwan. The houses in these villages were often haphazardly and poorly constructed, having been built hastily with limited funding. Many of them were isolated by bamboo fences and a unique culture was formed.
