Dear UPHA Member, Donor, or Supporter: I hope this letter finds you well as we enter a new year and a new season for the horse industry. It has been my honor to serve you as President of this prestigious association for the past year, and I look forward to navigating through the future with a strong group of individuals that truly care about this industry! As many of you know, UPHA relocated its headquarters to Midway, KY, this past summer. Our previous office space at the Kentucky Horse Park was in disrepair and faced ongoing maintenance issues. We were told the building would not be repaired or renovated. The move to Midway has been nothing short of amazing. Our new office is professional, welcoming, and provides a wonderful working environment for our dedicated employees. This move has been a long time coming and has proven to be a positive step toward a bright future for UPHA. Midway is an idyllic, small Kentucky town that brings in visitors from across the state. UPHA’s office is located within walking distance from other popular industry brands. Freedman Harness & Saddlery and Commotion! are both located on Main Street with us, making it a convenient stop for people to grab a bite for lunch, do a little shopping, and to visit the new UPHA headquarters. Midway is a great location, located between several cities and convenient for local barns and trainers from surrounding areas. If you have not yet had the chance to visit, please stop in to see our renovations; it’s truly a special space! It is imperative that we now collaborate to help ensure the future of the UPHA is protected. The expenses associated with our relocation have been exponential and we would like to invite and encourage your help in making the future of this organization even brighter.
