Groom Topper 1. Colour your gum paste mixture with black gel. Roll a smooth ball, then into a sausage narrower towards the ends.

2. Fold in two and cut the ends. Mark the stitches along the legs of the trousers and the pockets. 3. Insert a BBQ stick through one of legs and half a toothpick at the end of other. Insert into a dummy cake and leave to dry.
4. Meanwhile, you can shape the upper body. Get some white paste and roll a ball, then into a rough trapezoid and flatten. Cut the narrow end. Attach to the legs using edible glue and inserting carefully through the BBQ stick.
5. Indent the neck area. Get some flesh coloured paste and insert a toothpick to form the neck. Attach to the body. 6a and 6b. Make the cravat by rolling pink paste into a ball, split into two and form one of the halves into a triangle. Give it some texture, then attach under the neck. Shape the rest of the cravat and attach to the body.
