Day 1 | In Transit Depart for Paris, France. Day 2 | Paris, France | Honfleur Transfer to the MS Renoir in Honfleur. Free Time: After settling in your cabin, start exploring Honfleur, a charming harbor town. Tonight, gather with your fellow travelers at a Welcome Reception and Dinner. Day 3 | Honfleur Discovery: Honfleur. This quintessential French port town has captivated artists for centuries. Soak up the maritime ambience of its picture-perfect, 17th-century Vieux Bassin, the old harbor. Stroll along narrow sidestreets to see landmarks like the wooden Church of Sainte-Cathérine, crafted by 15th-century shipbuilders. Free Time: Explore on your own this afternoon. Perhaps indulge in Normandy’s delectable treats. Day 4 | Caen | D-Day Beaches Discovery: Normandy and D-Day. Begin a journey into World War II history at the Caen Memorial Museum, a premier World War II museum with exhibits, photos and videos that explore the impact of the war. Step foot on Omaha Beach, where U.S. forces valiantly advanced across the heavily fortified shoreline under devastating fire to overcome German troops. Continue to Collevillesur-Mer to the Normandy American Cemetery which contains 9,385 graves of Americans who died in the invasion and subsequent battles, and visit Pointe du Hoc, where U.S. Rangers courageouslyscaled 100-foot cliffs to destroy German artillery.

Day 5 | Jumièges | Rouen Discovery: Ancient Abbeys. Visit the ruins of the Benedictine Abbey of Jumièges, one of the most powerful abbeys in medieval France. Continue to see the Abbey Saint-Wandrille, an abbey that still houses a thriving monastic community. Discovery: Rouen. Embark on a walking tour of Rouen’s historic city center, which features ornate Gothic churches and half-timbered houses. Visit the Notre-Dame de Rouen, the city’s grand cathedral. Back on board, watch the sun dip below the horizon as you cruise the bends of the Seine. Day 6 | Les Andelys | Martainville-Épreville | La Roche-Guyon Sit on deck this morning while gliding past the verdant, rolling hills bordering the river. Discovery: Grand Châteaux. See the ruins of Château Gaillard, a medieval castle built atop a cliff by Richard the Lionheart. Continue to Château de Martainville, a pretty 15th-century castle. Glimpse life in Normandy between the 16th and 19th centuries, including exhibits of costumes and chinaware. Day 7 | La Roche-Guyon | Giverny | Paris This morning, disembark in La Roche-Guyon and drive through the town and countryside to Giverny. Discovery: Monet, His Life in Giverny. Delve into the life and work of impressionist painter Claude Monet at his delightful home in Giverny. Wander through the lush, tranquil garden that inspired many of his paintings, and visit the studio where he painted his Water Lilies series. Relax aboard the ship this afternoon. Discovery: Seine at Night. Tonight, witness the City of Light during an evening illumination cruise on the Seine. Admire Paris’ iconic landmarks bathed in butter-hued light, such as Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Louvre, and float under the graceful arches of history-steeped bridges, including Pont Neuf. Day 8 | Paris Enrichment: History of Paris. Uncover the pivotal events and people that have shaped Paris. Discovery: The Latin Quarter. Start a walking tour of Paris’ Latin Quarter. See the restoration process of Notre-Dame, the city’s most famous cathedral, and cross the Archbishop’s Bridge for a look at the Latin Quarter. Learn about the quarter’s history, architecture and residents.

PYJ | Choose one of these excursions: •Versailles. Journey to Versailles, France’s grandest palace. Versailles was France’s political capital and the seat of the royal court from 1682-1789. See the opulent rooms, grand gardens and Hall of Mirrors. •Palais Garnier. Visit the Palais Garnier, home of the Paris National Opera and the Paris Opera Ballet School. This theater inspired Edgar Degas’ popular paintings of ballerinas. See the extravagant Grand Staircase and auditorium with the ceiling painted by Marc Chagall. Join your fellow travelers for a Farewell Reception and Dinner on board to celebrate your adventure. Day 9 | In Transit Transfer to the airport for the return flight to your gateway city.
