My best memory of the Meeting in Poio
Ewa I really enjoyed my staying in Spain. I met a lot of nice friendly people. Spanish teachers were really helpful and friendly. I especially liked the landscape lemon, orange tries in the streets. It was beautiful. During our excursion we visited the seaside. There were the breathtaking views: a lot of granite stones in fantastic shapes. We also visited Santiago de Compostela - a beautiful medieval town. I took plenty of interesting photos of the cathedral, preety narrow streets and old buildings. I enjoyed the seafood, especially octopuses and calamares.
Paula In my opinion, all the moments were fantastic, but if I had to think of one, I would choose the day of our visit to Pontevedra. The visit was vey interesting, but the best part was what some Spanish students did with some Polish and Czech boys and girls after the visit. First, we went to have dinner and then we went to Carmen´s house, who is one of the girls from our school. There, we started to watch a film together, but we took some photos of each other. We did not wath the end of the film because one hour later we started to dance and sing some Spanish songs like "La Macarena" and the foreign students taught us some songs from their countries. It was an amazing experience and very fun!!!
Paulina In Spain I met a lot of friendly people. I ate local specialities for example empanadas and tortilla. It was very delicious food. I saw a lot of interesing place for example Combarro, Pontevedra, beautiful beaches in Sanxenxo and Cathedral and University in the capital city od Galicia, Santiago de Compostela. It was fantastic experience.
Claudia
We went to Silgar beach in Sanxenxo and we were playing football and taking photos. It was fantastic because not eveyone had beaches in their countries, so they were very excited.
Aleksandra
My trip to Spain was a fantastic experience. I met lots of new friends and knew Spanish language. I tasted traditional Spanish dishes, for example tortilla. I saw amazing views, beautiful beaches and lots of orange and lemon trees. These are my wonderful memories which will be with me forever. Niquea I enjoyed this experience a lot. I had a lot of fun a day when we were teaching our Polish and Czech friends Spanish songs. They learnt them and we laughed a lot while helping each other to pronounce well.
Sara My best experience with the students of the project was the walk around the path of the mills of A Freixa in Poio. It was a rainy and ugly day but we had a good time all together. Later, we went to a bar in A Seca to drink something and to talk all together, in the bar we taught them some Spanish expressions too. We took a lot of photos and learned a lot things from the other countries. We also had a lot of funny moments together. It was a very good experience
Silvia My best memory was spending time with my host student. I appreciate a lot the fact of speaking English with her all the time, which allowed me to improve my English. It was so enriching to learn new things about the way of living of the teenagers in Greece such as: the extracurricular classes, Math as a compulsoty subject, the different timetables...At the beginning of her stay she was a bit afraid of our dogs being into the house. during the week, I taugh her to give instructions to the dog like sit and at the end of the week she felt like touching the dogs or stroking them.
Sebastian Poio is beautiful. The landscapes are breathtaking there. We spent a good time at the bay. This town is amazing at night. The catedral is very big and stunning in Santiago de Compostela. It was awesome trip.
Paula In this experience there were a lot of good moments, but my best memory was when we had to teach Spanish, because it was very funny and we also learned a lot of things about the other countries
Niquea I enjoyed this experience a lot. I had a lot of fun a day when we were teaching our Polish and Czech friends Spanish songs. They learnt them and we laughed a lot while helping each other to pronounce well.
Marketa This project changed my view to the others and I notice that everyone has a bright side of itself and hating to each other like wars is totally misunderstand!!! If I have to choose just one memory, it would be this one. Sitting in a kitchen with my host family, hostes mom´s bringing scampi and it such a fun because it´s my first time to taste it, so everyone around table makes a jokes to my account but I don´t care and everyone looks happy. That´s my the best memory of Poio. :) Miss u all !!!!
Carla I went to have lunch to Paula´s house with Filip, the Polish boy whom we hosted at home. This day they had squids with rice. When Filip saw the food he began to laugh and he said: the food is crazy because it is very blak. He spent more than five minutes laughing, so Paula and me laughed too. We could not hardly it due to the laugh
Petr We all are proof that we are one big European family. We represent the future of our continent and our union. Our realationships must be unified and this amazing project contributes to it. The one thing I will never forget is a sightseeing around Poio with my hosting family, icluding a visit of the fish market. I have been totally satisfied with this meeting!
