Aligning with Cal Athletics’ mission to provide our 850 student-athletes with a well-rounded experience, complete with first-rate opportunities for their athletic, academic, and personal growth, this new facility will be a critical component to the softball student-athlete experience. In partnership with Chancellor Carol Christ, Cal Athletics aims to help current and future generations of softball student-athletes reach new standards of performance on the field and in their studies. The facility will equip our student-athletes with the amenities they need to maximize their potential, and provide Cal softball the opportunity to host postseason games, all while allowing Cal to serve its dedicated spectators. With the resources to thrive at the elite level, our student-athletes can reach new heights and fulfill their dreams of competing at home on a national stage. LOCKER ROOM & TEAM ROOM The locker room is home base for our Cal softball team. It includes keyless entry lock pad, wall wrap graphics, private showers, lockers, and a lounge area. The softball student-athletes would see your family’s name every day and forever associate you with their locker room and their years of playing at Cal.
BATTING CAGES Modern batting cages and equipment will provide an opportunity for our student-athletes to train daily while also creating an incentive for elite recruits to come to Cal.

SCOREBOARD Perched behind the left field wall overlooking the diamond, dugouts, and seating area, the softball scoreboard will provide all in attendance updates on the score and your Cal Bears. A main fixture of any sports facility, the scoreboard will display your name or family name to fans in every section.
ENTRY GATES As you walk through the entry gates, you are immediately swept into scenic vistas and an eye-popping facility. Your name or family name will be a part of fans’ first impression as they enter the facility for each game and event.
