Edition 5
This Week in ASP Digital ASP!
Welcome to This Week in ASP! Your newest spot for all the games and activities you love in after-school, and some new ones, now in a newsletter! Stay tuned for more awesome activities and brain breaks to keep you and your family engaged and smiling!
InterACTive One Word Story: Establish who will begin the story, and each person who follows after. The first person begins the story by saying a single word. Continue with each person saying a single word with the aim of building a coherent story. This is a fun and creative way to bring storytelling to the next level!
Exquisite Corpses: Start with a blank piece of paper for each person, something to write with, and some players. Fold your paper in three sections hamburger-style. On the top-most section, each player draws the head for the corpse, keeping this drawing a secret from the other players Extend the neck lines a little onto the middle section so the next person knows where to continue from. Fold over the top section so the next person can’t see it and pass it to the left The next person draws the torso, again extending the bottom edge onto the bottom section Fold over the middle section so just the bottom section is visible and pass it along. The third person draws the legs (make sure they connect to the torso lines) Unfold and relish in your collaborative artwork!
