In the summer, I am a nurse at a sleepaway camp in the town of Great Barrington, in the beautiful Berkshires of Western Massachusetts...the same camp that I attended as a child in the 1970’s! Great Barrington, Ma. was the birthplace of the great civil rights activist W.E.B. Du Bois.

Now I’m Helping with COVID-19 Efforts
When Governor Cuomo reached out to medical professionals to assist with the COVID-19 emergency, I began to help at Jones Beach, one of the many NYS testing sites.
Once an appointment is made, they drive up to be tested. The team works together. The window stays up until the very moment that that the nurse quickly takes a sample from the nose. Then the tube is sealed and off goes the car. It is very cold and windy down at the beach!
The Army, State Troopers and other officials make up the testing site team. Keeping everybody safe & healthy is the most important task.
I would love to hear from you.. just reach out and say hello! Have questions about COVID-19? Maybe you have a photo or video of you and your family pet? Or to share a favorite movie or series that you are watching‌ lisa.moldowsky@calhoun.org
