In 08 brothers Dan & Jeffrey Peterson were approached by fellow stoner, comedian Ngaio Bealum about starting a 420 magazine based on the MMJ Explosion that was taking Calif by storm. The trio created West Coast Cannabis but the brothers felt that the format was too tame so they ventured out on their own & created California Chronicle XXX magazine which debuted at Burning Man 2008.
